Ti'ana is my fav. Most helpful of the three as far as learning about the D'ni goes.

Book of Atrus... filled in so many holes for Myst and Riven. Although BoT did fill in a lot about the D'ni civilization, I still liked the 'surprise' in BoA.

Poor BoD never does well in these polls! lol

hmm... it didn't quite fit with the rest of the series... combination of no explanation of where Averone came from (obviously he wrote it, but us pseudo-intellectual types want proof) and the very end, with a sort of journal entry by Catherine... makes sense, but then BoA should have started with one. End of BoD seemed to be more continuing an entry, so BoA would start, maybe BoT would continue it, and it would end in BoD... now with Book of Marrim, everything's shot, but would have made BoD a bit better...

lol, long post, and I remember reading the books last to first, BoD, BoT, then BoA 6 months later

Book of Atrus is the only one that really impressed me and got to me emotionally. I began to have respect for the Millers in a new dimension - that there was a depth to their world and worldview I hadn't realized before.
