Just so I can get things straight for future trades, what is the format of this league? Meaning is it seaon mode where after every season all players resume their usual rating or is it like franchise mode where potencial and age have a huge affect on ratings. Or will it be like flamesfan's league where at the end of the season we can ask for re-rates? I would just like to know because I have guys like Guerin who will obviously get worse with a low potencial and I have guys like Hannan with potencial in the 90's...

Thanks.

it's going to be like in season mode except ratings will chance year to year. Young players will proably get better, older players will get worse and eventually retire. Potential will have bearings in ratings changes but players aren't a lock to reach it or won't neccesarily stay below it.

Sounds good Marshall! biggrin.gif

btw, this is my favorite league I'm in (that means something since I'm the GM of like 7 different teams right now). I love how realistic it is with the salaries and caps. Thats one thing I don't like about Flamesfan's league is that my team would never survive under the new CBA with my 4th line making over $45M alone. tongue.gif

Great Work!

Thanks for the support smile.gif . I tried to make this league as realistic as possible, it's more of a challenge, something that was missing in the other leagues i've been in. The only thing that bothers me is I can only deal with 16 teams instead of the full 30.

I don't mind the 16 teams at all actually. I hate league with 30 GMs and only like 16 who are actually active. It's really anoying when someone shows up every 3rd day to trade half his team away for Ladislav Nagy...(happened in one of my leagues today tongue.gif )

bad part about EHM 07 is that u can not have a league with all 30 teams... it only allows 15 if u do a league with it... Now i don't know if that is for online usage or wut... But I too have EHM 05 & 07... Great Simulator, very Fun & realistic... but minor things keep this game from being the # 1 Simulator on the market...

But I do love these only because u have real prospects & everyone retires & ratings drop based on their playing time & their overall Attitudes with team play, time on ice, & other things just like real NHL...

But Yes Marshall ur doing a great job... I like having a CAP better than the other leagues im in... way too many lowball trading... not fun when a team is stacked with all Mid 80's to high 90 players on their first 3 to 4 lines...

Great Job Marshall
