Anyway, I have been playing some time with what to use for IFVs in SMS. Now while this largely goes down to what the doctrine is, I want to get some thoughts on this outside of this.

I have (For creative reasons) decuded I will be using a lot of stuff derrived from German/US/Japanese pre-1945 stuff. As a result, I have broken down the following four weapons for consideration.

37mm M6
50mm KwK39
75mm KwK37
76mm M1

Now, ignoring the use of mortars for what the KwK37 is best for, I'm trying to decide where to go.

One ideal is, in a platoon of 3 section vehicles plus one weapon squad/hq vehicle, have the last be armed with the KwK37, and the other three armed with the M6. This gives great capability (The M6 beats almost all current RL IFV guns), and gives the weapons squad some heavy power (Lulzy HE power of the KwK37).

The middleground option is for the KwK39, which simply fills both roles.

Then there's the M1, in all its glory that I really want to find a use for somewhere.

Someone provide some thoughts here, on mixes, uses, reasons for and against. I can't decide.
