The COT.31 Kondor is a strategic transport aircraft that is currently serving as the principal strategic transport aircraft in the Royal Cottish Air Force's transport fleet. With almost nine thousand airframes delivered to the Royal Cottish Air Force over the past nine years, the Kondor has proven itself to be a dependable and maintenance-friendly aircraft capable of hauling large loads over great distances. The Kondor was based on the highly successful An-124 Ruslan, and has borrowed several design features from the An-124 such as the ability to land on improvised and uneven landing strips and landing strips made of grass. With final delivery to the Royal Cottish Military now being complete (including one extra aircraft ordered to replace the one shot down by Kahanistan last year), the COT.31 Kondor has now been released for general export.
