So I'm upgrading my army a bit and wish to replace the bolt-action rifles already in use (convert a few to sniper rifles and give the rest to militia units), so I'm looking at a semi-automatic rifle for my frontline units.
I have two coniditions;
1. Since I'm in Mac's Fedala Accord I would like the rifle to be able to use 6.5 x 45mm rounds.
2. I'm a largely WW2-era tech based nation and so the rifle must be able to be produced with tech that was around in 1940.
Modified Garand go go go!
Or, hell, the SKS, but I never got to shoot that one. One of my gun-collector friends speaks glowingly of it, though.
