Title: Cargo Aircraft

Alright, I have been doing a review of my air force and I honestly want a new cargo aircraft. I currently use the C-17, but I want something that can carry more, mostly carry more men

Well you could consider the CFU-21 Clydesdale:

Although i never got around to specifying the troop capacity although a quick gestimate for folding wall and centre line seats would be about 176, with over 200 beign an option for palletised seating.

Maybe a good idea, maybe not, but if you want something that can carry more men, you can always go airships. They're not as vunerable as you would think, and they can carry a lot more then a normal cargo plane ever will. And they also use less fuel and have a larger range. Dowside though is that airships are slow. But hey, they can land everywhere and are still faster then, say, a hovercraft.

In my military, I use Skycats (http://www.worldskycat.com/) as heavy airlifters and amphibious transports. Skycats are a pretty modern kind of airship, probably the best RL design.

Of course, if you want more speed, you'll have to go with a fixed wing design.

For RL stuff, An-225.

For NS, C-10 "Minotaur"

Also, airships, no matter how modern, are idiotic. They are slow, and have a stupidly low cargo weight to volume ratio.
