Or...

A heavy IFV with a cannon of some sort in a remote turret, two AGL's and two side mounted MG's. This came to me when I was looking at different BMPT concepts and realized the ability of the pictured vehicle to engage multiple targets all around wasn't that different from the original intent of IFV's; and the squad provided enough gunners that engaging ~5 different targets simultaneously wasn't a big deal.

Obviously it would lose it's hull weapons when the squad dismounted. But then the dismounts would be engaging enemy infantry.

I'm personally sketchy about the worth of hull firing ports on the move.
If you've broken down or become stuck, sure, but if you've let enemy infantry get close enough to need them, you're probably already dead.

1. You're not 'already dead' as long as there's a man on board capable of pulling the trigger. Inquire into the Attack of the Dead.

2. Urban combat. Trench warfare. Ambushes.

So wait, you want a normal NS IFV with a remote controlled gun turret. But you also want to mount machine guns and grenade launchers on the side? Would this be something like the IFV version of those interwar many turreted heavy tanks? Or would it be something like the bow machine guns on the BMP-3.

Step 2 - The designers than go and do their best to make something that works and still looks mostly like what the Great Leader drew.
Step 3 - Once finished with that, throw it away and make something that actually works.

If your side mounting refers to the way that thing has firing ports on the side and you want the stick MG's in there. Since that's the image I am getting from your description. Won't mounting MG's in such places give them very bad elevation and sighting capabilities?

Didn't I just say those aren't gunports? They are stabilized remote mountings.

Yes they have limited fire arcs, but they are only meant to cover a limited sector.

Where would those be mounted on and how? I am having a hard time picturing it? On the roof? Sponsons?

This clearly isn't the case.

The dismounts act as gunners while mounted.
