Description: MP's enemies used fighters very similar to the A6M Zero or Ki-43 Hayabusa. These very light, agile airplanes frequently sucked the heavy interceptors of Mazara Palani's Air Force into slow, turning fights at low level. Many heavier fighters, such as the MR-4 and AS-5 had a very difficult time using their superior speed at low levels and were shot down while trying to climb to altitude. Additionally, over the water, these same fighters could easily shred formations of bombers on their way to attack enemy fleets.

The carrier based SF-3 was designed to shoot down agile enemy planes and guard carrier based bomber formations against attack. Superior Mazara engine technology meant that the SF-3 could carry a more powerful engine than its opponents for the same weight. The twincharged SF-3, with its 3 stage, 4 speed supercharger coupled to a two speed turbocharger, was powerful and agile at every altitude, allowing it to outrun and outclimb any enemy that it couldn't outmaneuver.
