Ed Macy was supposedly able to go on to fly Apache gunships over Afghanistan on two separate tours, despite having a broken back and a number of other incorrectly-set broken bones.
His medical records had been conveniently lost by his GP.

The downside to this is once you're in, they're allowed to access your records themselves.

88% Armaments Designer Group: Members Posts: 1,764 Member No.: 345 Joined: 30-April 08	Aced the interview today and so now on course to join 2620 Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force Regiment by the end of October. On a side note the squadron's little depot section is a short distance from a store where a bunch of external fuel tanks for the Tornado are kept, possibly spares by the looks of things. --------------------

Doctor finally attached my medical records to my RG8 form so hopefully now I can get a briefing date!
