Smoking thread

OK. Who else here indulges in cancer sticks? The events of this semester ended up with me turning to smokes and alcohol to manage the stress - and now I'm hooked. FML.'

On that note I smoke DuMaurier Menthols and Macdonald Menthols. The latter are like pipe cleaners and harsh as fuck. Du Maurier ftw. :3

I tend to smoke when I'm at home, but at uni, I don't know any smokers so usually don't.
I smoke Mayfair Superkings when I do, though.

My friends smoked more of my cigarettes than I ever managed to light. The appeal and addiction never took hold and after a month or two I just stopped even trying. Last time I smoked was University after a party when we were doing cigars and rye in our residence common room,... distant memory before the Berlin wall fell,...

Ah, for the days before the indoor smoking ban

Menthols or nonmenthols

I dont really care, usually menthols.

Menthol's give you mad street cred.

I don't smoke, but my parents both do.

Mom likes Camels, but those are pricy, so we get the crappy state kind.

Dad likes Black n' Milds, Marlboro Menthols, and anything Menthol.

Also,

Drinking is worse than smoking IIRC.

You drink to much one day you get alcohol poisoning.

You smoke to much one day you get a mad headache.

I stopped smoking regular cigarettes around ten years ago, and its one of the best things i have done. They cost allot and lowered my fitness level.

That is not to say I have dropped it totally, unlike most swedes I didn't turn to snus after giving up smoking.

What I do is smoke cigars and its a bit special because unlike my food and drink consumption I have one favorite wich I some 9 times out of 10, the Macanudo Diplomat Maduro. If you are able to get your hand on it I strongly recommend it! I almost never were black tie without having it in my inner pocket (same goes with white tie but I only where that one or two times a year).

No. Not insofar as your lung capacity is concerned (and thusly your ability to do anything physical at an extended rate) at least.

Cigars, price ensures I don't get cancer. Apparently you're not really meant to inhale them anyway.

I don't smoke generally but usually Marlboro Lights if I do.

No snus in Canada yet. ;_;

Snus is actually banned in the European union except for in Sweden and Norway.

The purpose is to feel the tase in the mouth not to murder your lungs so its not that strange. (your lungs will still get their fare share though)
