Anagonian Defense Industries - City of Imperius - Anagonia
With high hopes ADI has began an extensive research and development project to further enhance the capability of the Modern Anagionian Warrior to better battle foreign and domestic threats to Freedom and Democracy. Here in the Anagonian Province of Drekamythia, situated just outside the Imperial City of Imperius, Anagonian Defense Industries has been in high gear constructing and testing various styles of personal defense armor and weaponry. Its latest development, the STBA-200 Soviet Trooper Light Battle Armor, has recieved high hopes for being the primary Elite Special Forces outfit since the beginning of last year. Further technological research into the primary workings of the STBA-200 was publically announced on Anagonian Networks just a day ago. Already receiving high praise from internal high-ranking individuals in the Military, ADI has gone further to get foreign approval from outside sources in the International Community.

A spokesperson from ADI held a press conference yesterday surprising the Region stating that "This was only the beginning of what we intend to do with this new technology." Upon asking further question of the spokespersons remark, Union Chronicles own Timothy Eri received only this response, stating that "Anagonian Defense Industries is looking into weapons development to combine this new technology and create a more powerful and intimidating Anagonian Warrior."

One can only guess the cryptic meanings of that statement. Assumptions range from the new development of armored vehicles to hand-held weaponry. Yet its refreshing to finally hear that Anagonia is finally taking its destiny into its own hands after so long of purchasing foreign weaponry. The Anagonian Military has constantly refused to develop its own weapons platform beyond the noted XCV-1 Anagonian Class Carrier of the Grand Navy and the Air Forces XF-200 Super Starfighter. One could instantly see that these platforms are updated versions of the United States Carrier and Aircraft Platforms, and after these home-made variants nothing was seen of internal development.

For decades the Military purchased foreign weaponry to constantly update its forces, knowing that these platforms were equally used by allies and enemies. This made for a strategic disadvantage, and specifically created a situation where Anagonia could get involved in a conflict and have its forces beaten back by an enemy who already knows the pro's and con's of these weapons platforms.

Everything aside, we here at the Union Chronicle praise the new developments coming out of ADI. Finally were seeing something in the military that isn't developed outside of our beloved Homeland. Finally were seeing that our forces are at a true advantage, and can have that advantage without the world sharing it. It is our true personal opinion that ADI will continue to create Anagonian Made weapons and platforms for years to come.

The only question remaining is will we ever replace those outdated Tanks? Time will only tell.
