Plus various other craptacular sources. And I must be the foremost expert on Japanese tanks and tank tactics on NSD.

I demand a thread on this.

Also anyone know any good books about the war in China? I can't find any. sad.gif

It's almost as if nothing happened there. Amazon.com doesn't even have squat!

Seriously, fuck the police. I've known several personally and I can't say I've ever met one who wasn't corrupt or an ass who thought law and basic human decency didn't apply to him. Especially around here 95% of the cops are Marine wannabes who couldn't hack it and now spend their time roughing people up and acting like douchebags, and getting $85k/yr for it.

I got to #7 and stopped reading. This was about six years ago. I would get back into them, since they were really good books, but I'd have to start from book #1.

Just finished Malcolm MacPherson's Roberts Ridge

Currently reading:
SF: Ian M. Banks' Excession
MilFic: Harold Coyle's Cat and Mouse
NonFic: Michael B. Oren Power, Faith, and Fantasy: America in the Middle East 1776 to the Present

Forever War's indeed awesome.
I never got into Robert Jordan's stuff.

University libraries have gotten some "new" stuff.

So I will hopefully be reading Achtung-Panzer!, by Hienz Guderian, Machine Warfare by "Boney" Fuller, "Boney" Fuller by Anthony John Trythall, and Armoured Forces by Ogorkiewicz.

I can't believe they have a few books by Fuller, a ton by Liddel-Hart, some by Ogorkiewicz finally, and the coolest of all.

They have the fucking memiors and therotical notes of Tukachevsky.
In Russian.

Damnit I need to learn Russian now.

Wow. Wait, do I have access to anything cool, other than those old Janes books that I still haven't checked out?

...

No. sad.gif We have Ogorkiewicz's work on thermoplastics, though. There's Guderian, Fuller, and "zbrannye proizvedenii︠a︡" by Tukhachevsky across the river. Wait, we have some Liddell Hart, and there's more across the river.
