A virus is spreading all throughout the region, killing off Pokemon in their masses, and in some rare cases, causing horrific mutations to occur. These strange mutations are similar to evolutions, but are occuring much quicker than expected. Some say the strange alien creature that fell from the sky is to blame for this, others point towards human intervention in a once pure and clean world inhabited by pokemon alone.
What's worse, the once revered god of all Pokemon, Arceus, has awoken. His intentions seem to be to cure the ill, however, he alone cannot stop the sickness. Upon asking Giratina for assistance, he was brutally rejected, and the beast from the other dimension and the Orginal One began their war. The land is in turmoil, but still there remains a pokemon championship and a vast world to explore.

WELCOME TO NEW ORIGINS
New origins, the brand new Pokemon RP site taking a slightly darker twist. Promoting an initive new plot and features unique to the site itself, such as a spam corner and a spam c-box, this is bound to become one of the best pokemon RP sites you will ever find. Yet we need your help, a site cannot grow without literate, active members, and we sure need a lot of them.
Currently, we really need more trainers, a Deoxys and more gym leaders. Espically a note on trainers, though we like those who enter contests and the unique aspects of breeders, we really are set up to be a plot oriented, training based site. So, if you are considering joining, we'd apprechiate it if you could be a trainer ^^
Also for the plot, we really, really, really would like a Deoxys. So once again, if your considering making a new character or signing up, please do consider these two legendaries.

Spam has it's own box, Flaming can be done over PM {and if it gets too serious, please contact an admin and we will try to sort things out} and advertisements has it's own board. And as September beings, so comes a few new features to the site. Both tournaments are finally opened, and I'm sure most of you will espically enjoy the OPW tournaments. They're at the bottom of the locations bit, under the pokemon league, by the way.
Also, you may now start evolving pokemon, which is in the first section of the site. Please use this feature, it's intresting and fun although pretty cliche for pokemon sites, but at least we have a different reason other than it eing a new region ;D
And finally, member and character of month voting has started, so we can soon get rid of the ugly sidebar avs and get some pretty new ones. Voting will finish on the 14th. {Psst, vote for me ;D}

.your POKEMON Please create a list with all your pokemon, along with levels, moves and abilites. Keep these updated with new moves taught, new pokemon caught, ect. Remember to split it up into pokemon on your team and pokemon at home/in your PC!
Silvermoon City This massive city is a buzzing metropolis with the first gym that trainers must challange in order to proceed. Many buisnesses have struck it rich out here, and the city has become prosperous because of this.
The White Lake A huge lake famous for when the moon shines on it, it turns a beautiful and eerie ivory white. The lake itself is not very deep, but many wild pokemon reside both in it and in the long grass that grows by it.
Fortuna Town A small town which was once a mighty city and the birthplace of the casino. The citys legacy began to fade, however, as people moved away to Silvermoon City, and the casino closed and moved away. All that remains in memory of this city is this town.
Now after the destruction of Giratina and Arceus, many ghost pokemon remain. The town is desolated, and few people still live here. Empty streets and cars litter the place, and dust blows softly in the wind.
Staryu Island Of the coast near Fortuna town is a massive island populated by Staryus and the occasional Starmie. Staryu's seem drawn to this place once a year, and it is said they host a massive festival together. No humans inhabit this island aside from perhaps the ocassional Staryu fanatic.

Mightyena's Forest This forest leads on from Fortuna town and will eventually lead to Dyne City. Though the forest mostly consists of low level Poochyenas, Murkrows and various bug pokemon, it is advised no one travel through here at night. For, the forest guardian is a high level Mightyena who will stop at nothing to defend it's home.
Route 233 The small stretch of land between the forest and Dyne City. A small flowershop has been set up here which sells honey, flowers and berries.

Dyne City A large city with two parks where you can take your pokemon for walks. The contest hall also happens to be here where people from all over Chubu come to enter the beauty contests. There is also a large department store filled with everything a trainer needs. The second Gym is here.
The Open Plains A vast, practically empty plain filled with grass and a few trees. The area is famous for Ponytas who love to race each other across the plainland.

The Deadlands Empty. Hot. Dead. After the vast and lush plainlands come the deadlands. The desert mesa has great pillars of stone jutting out of the earth. Pokemon have adapted to live in these conditions, but can you survive the heat or thebone chilling night?
Sandstorm Village Out here in the harsh desert people have survived. Here the 6th gym stands, meaning trainers must return here and face the harsh desert storms again.
Ten Thousand Needles Travellers must now go through a great canyon where a river snakes through. The journey may be long, but afterwords travellers will be rewarded with Lyvore City. The "needles" are mesa's that rise to the height of the canyon wall itself.
Twin Eye Village Within the great canyon of Ten Thousand Needles is the village of Twin Eye, with a people that once populated the whole of the desert region. The tribal people worship nature and claim to be able to tell both the past and the future. Their guardian is a Xatu who stands on the highest "needle" in Ten Thousand Needles and overlooks the canyon as his own.

Lyvore City A great city that emerges as the desert becomes grassland again. The casinos of Fortuna Town moved here, and so many can strike it rich here. The city is also famous for it's huge water park and theme park. The third gym can be found here.
Actameton Town A seaside town that makes it money from ship building and fishing. For some reason, once a year, a huge flock of bird pokemon come here to roost, and then suddenly scatter leave the next morning. No one is quite sure why they do this. The fourth gym is found here.
Mountain's Pass Now trainers must go through long and winding caves, and reach the top of the mountain. Various cave dweeling pokemon such as Gravelers and Golbats live here.

Route 247 Upon leaving the Mountain Pass, travelers will come to the great ice lands. Ice and snow spread out in all directions, but to the distance, the lights of Dorsum Village glow. On this route there have been sightings of the mysterious Absol. It is warned that if you see this creature that you should turn back as Avalanches have been common after sightings of the Absol.

Dorsum Village A village on top of the mountain and nestled within the snow plains. Here is where the Cult of Ninetails began, and a great temple has been erected in honour of the pokemon. The 5th gym can be found here.
The Long Road Down The Long Road Down stays true to it's name, the path is dangerous and long, but travelers must take it in order to reach The Butterfree Orchard.

The Butterfree Orchard A meadow filled with flowers and various bug pokemon. Shaymin is rumoured to reside here and is the guardian of the meadow.

Pratum Town A country town living by the meadows. The people here are simple, living freely and happily beside nature. A large market has been set up here, whose stalls sell things unique to the whole region. The 7th gym can be found here.
The Marshlands Criss crossing between Pratum town and Adamo city is the marsh lands. Be careful not to get stuck in the quick sand or you will face a slow and painful death.

Adamo City The capital city of the region. Here is the Safari Zone, along with a great battle stadium from which people come all over the world to compete in. A huge labratory has been set up here to combat against the virus spreading across the land. The final gym resides here.

Victory Road If trainers have defeated the final gym and recieved all 8 of their badges, they may go on to face the Elite 4 and their Champion. The road is long, harsh and dangerous, and test trainers and their pokemon to the limit. Yet it is nothing compared to what comes next.

The Pokemon League The final destination for skilled trainers. Here is where they must face the Elite Four and their champion. Beating the champion will offically make you a Pokemon Master. Good luck to all participating trainers!

Tournaments From all over the world people come here to compete in two massive and famous tournaments. Anyone can join and enter, and transport is given via the pelliper taxi service. Every month a new tournament begins and new players can compete.
