A virus is spreading all throughout the region, killing off Pokemon in their masses, and in some rare cases, causing horrific mutations to occur. These strange mutations are similar to evolutions, but are occuring much quicker than expected. Some say the strange alien creature that fell from the sky is to blame for this, others point towards human intervention in a once pure and clean world inhabited by pokemon alone.
What's worse, the once revered god of all Pokemon, Arceus, has awoken. His intentions seem to be to cure the ill, however, he alone cannot stop the sickness. Upon asking Giratina for assistance, he was brutally rejected, and the beast from the other dimension and the Orginal One began their war. The land is in turmoil, but still there remains a pokemon championship and a vast world to explore.

WELCOME TO NEW ORIGINS
New origins, the brand new Pokemon RP site taking a slightly darker twist. Promoting an initive new plot and features unique to the site itself, such as a spam corner and a spam c-box, this is bound to become one of the best pokemon RP sites you will ever find. Yet we need your help, a site cannot grow without literate, active members, and we sure need a lot of them.
Currently, we really need more trainers, a Deoxys and more gym leaders. Espically a note on trainers, though we like those who enter contests and the unique aspects of breeders, we really are set up to be a plot oriented, training based site. So, if you are considering joining, we'd apprechiate it if you could be a trainer ^^
Also for the plot, we really, really, really would like a Deoxys. So once again, if your considering making a new character or signing up, please do consider these two legendaries.

Spam has it's own box, Flaming can be done over PM {and if it gets too serious, please contact an admin and we will try to sort things out} and advertisements has it's own board. And as September beings, so comes a few new features to the site. Both tournaments are finally opened, and I'm sure most of you will espically enjoy the OPW tournaments. They're at the bottom of the locations bit, under the pokemon league, by the way.
Also, you may now start evolving pokemon, which is in the first section of the site. Please use this feature, it's intresting and fun although pretty cliche for pokemon sites, but at least we have a different reason other than it eing a new region ;D
And finally, member and character of month voting has started, so we can soon get rid of the ugly sidebar avs and get some pretty new ones. Voting will finish on the 14th. {Psst, vote for me ;D}
