I was pretty worked up when I wrote that last night, because stories were suddenly changing, school was let out, etc. We drove by the school out of curiosity since there had been a 5:00 meeting (that we didn't get to go to because my mom was working and we had to pick her up) and I swear that...90% of the town was there! I've never seen so many cars lined all along the street, in the circle in front of the school, and even the BiLo marking lot across the street was filled to bursting. So, anyway, at least no one was hurt in THIS accident, but it's still pretty freaky. And since the only things they are telling us run along the lines of "No one was hurt and the rumors were false" and "This is all precaution" we can still tell that Mr. Johnston is lying through his teeth. He looked awfully nervous in that news clip... >_> And they say that only one student was arrested, when my mom saw two additional boys in shackles going into the police office, which is next door to where she works. They obviously aren't reporting everything...

Whoa, that's some crazy stuff...
My school made the news recently, too.
Some stuff about all of us seniors being banned from pep rallies just because we shot silly string at a pep rally that we usually throw confetti at, anyway and how they're trying to stamp out all the school spirit/ individuality/ everything nice in our school. All about how the administration is completely corrupted, and the administration STILL won't admit it, even though it went on the news. Everything's the same.
It's not like we're...oh I don't know...making threats against other student's lives or something. *cough cough* You'd think they'd be a bit more lenient seeing as we're such a good group of nonviolent people.
Nonetheless, I'm scared for you chicka, and I'm happy my school isn't goin' through that.

Silly string? Now that's ridiculous...they're punishing you for having spirit for their stupid, corrupt school!
Well I hope that no one goes crazy in your school. I think we're going to be getting uniforms...because I guess that's supposed to rid out gang activity. Hopefully not within this year though, so I won't have to worry (though a small voice in my brain says "uniforms = anime...anime = cooool..."). We have a thing about tucking in shirts now though...gah, it's stupid. They randomly came on the speakers this morning and said "A reminder to all students to keep shirts tucked in!"
