Recently the board went through some changes, and we have been given some additional spam protection. This means, applications are far less likely to be spam related, and so this has meant we've been able to move back to email validation applications, which is far better for the board membership.
If you apply to become a board member - You must wait for an email to arrive in your inbox. Usually this happens within just a few minutes, but if after ten minutes there is still no sign of your validation email, here are some tips that might help.
First of all, make sure the email you use is valid! Type in the address carefully.... It is surprising how often the address can be mistakenly typed in.
Check if you have a spam or junk folder - This could mean that your email account is not recognising that the email is genuine and thinks it is spam. This is the most common cause for people not getting their confirmation emails through.
