Title: And So It Begins...
Description: Apalla begins to find her way...

Apalla - March 18, 2005 01:25 PM (GMT)
She was incredibly lonely- no pack, no mate, no siblings to comfort her. She had truly next to nothing. All on her own. The world seemed much bigger without Amatarina. Apalla noticed something. She had not smelt it before, but she was getting closer to other wolves. Her heart lifted, for the burden of wandering alone may soon be taken away... But still, what if she wasn't accepted? What if she was driven away? What if... There were so many questions to ask... So many to answer... But she laid down her head and pondered. And then, fell asleep.

Berik - March 18, 2005 04:06 PM (GMT)
Berik was somewhat startled when he came upon a sleeping form. The wolf had been downwind and not moving, hard even for Beriks single trained orb to notice. He almost collided with the bodice, cursing and giving a yip of indignation as he did so. He could smell no pack-scent on the varg and so raised his librums.

What wolf would come onto a boundary of /any/ land and promptly fall asleep? Ne'er one that he knew, but as he looked closer -for she had sa of yet not awoken- he saw that she was indeed dead to the world. He light breathing the source that she was still alive.

His mind reeled back from the memory of his mate Kaliska, as he used to watch her sleeping. He gave a sharp frown and then decided to wait until the wolf awoke. Shouldn't be too long after that cry he had given. He sat down a few yards away from her and raised his muzzle.

Apalla - May 9, 2005 12:23 PM (GMT)
Apalla heard the wolf behind her. She opened her eyes, but did not move. "I can understand backing away from me. Being exiled with your little sister is more than enough to scare off a wolf..." She raised herself, and lowered her maw in greeting. She smiled at the brujo, for he alone had come to rescue her from her lonesome. "The comfort of darkness... Strange, isn't it? So powerful, so imposing, yet it wipes my tears and holds me... Excuse me, but my name is Apalla. I hope for you to stay..." She yawned, and showed her teeth as she did so. "I hope you can stay. I don't want to be alone again..."
