OOC: Phweeee! This is the fae I told you i'd make, Sliver XD (hopes to join Timber Woods)
IC: As the icy gales whipped through the trees, they created a high pitched whistle, piercing the air. The naked branches danced and swayed reluctantly, clicking together creating a cacaphony of percussive noises. The dried, yellow skeletons of grass and dried timothy stalks swayed in the breeze, dull reminders of summer's perished beauty. The sky was a light blue, and whispy grey clouds ambled lumberously through it's depths, like slow moving giants. The sun shone, but in intervals in which it occasionally hid behind the clouds. Patches of shadows flooded across the land, shadows of the clouds in the sky as they blockeed the sunn's smiling face. On this day, the weather was undecided, still choosing between winter and summer. Dried leaves fluttered on the breeze, a few still clinging futilely to the branches, only to be ripped away with the next gale.
As tentative as the weather, was her. Alera Rosenwey. She'd come from the south, and a warmer climat. These lands were a fair bit colder than her home lands, but were nonetheless welcoming. The seemingly dead mask of nature was, to her, a sign that in the summer, the lands blossomed with beauty. Though they stood as bare claws, the trees, she imagined, must look magnificent in the summer, donning a green crown of leaves. The air was clear, and smelled quite fresh. It carried upon it the scent that had called to her. Wolf.
It had been many months ago now that she'd left her homelands, in search of a new pack. Her parents had been wanderers in their own time, and were aging. They'd established a territory, but had no interest in founding a pack. They merely wanted to live in peace, together. She chuckled. At least with her and her four siblings gone, they could have some real peace.
Not a day had gone by in her youth that she had not led them on some adventure or another. Sometimes they'd plan 'attacks' against their parents, and sometimes they were content just to explore new territories. She'd been the ringleader. Though she was quite small, they'd followed her. There had been four of them. Her, her sister Pallista, and her brothers Fautail and Balidor. Balidor had been the largest, then Pallista, then her, then poor Fautail, who was the runt, and was rather quiet and meek. But they stood up for him no matter what he got into.
Alera was now three years of age, and fully capable of taking care of herself. Slight of limb and body, she stood quite small, but her slightness put her into proportion. Her coat was a shiny tan colour, and was beginning to thicken for the winter. Her underside was cream coloured, as were her paws. Her eyes were a liquid chestnut, very endearing, yet held a light of curiosity and mischeviousness. She was still quite youthful in spirit as well. Presently, she yappedd with delight, and with her laughter tinkling upon the air, she began to chase a leaf as it flew through the air. She moved quickly, flag whirling in circles behind her. She pursued it until the wind shifted, bringing the scent of wolf even stronger. She froze, flag furled over her back as it often was. She held her minute maw to the breeze, auds pricked with interest.
Deciding now was as good a time as any, she lifted her maw to the cerulean sky, and sent forth a howl. Her voice was high, and clear, floating upon the air in her midday song. When at last her voice remained only as an echo, she sat, and curled her flag about her dainty paws. All she could do now, was listen, and wait.

A slender brujo scented the fae, and, as he was already wandering about the Neutral Border, looking for new wolves to join Timber Woods, he decided to go and check this wolf out too. His shining, silver peltage was his pride and joy of himself, followed in a close second by his mis-matched lamps, one a warm, honeyed amber, the other dark brown. Only a slight difference, but all the same, it still made Sliver Silentblade unique. Sleek, but burly mittens crunched in the late Autum leaves, cracking like a fire, their amber, orange, slightly yellow, and dark brown peices floating about like old, weathered parchment in the breeze created by his slow but steady movement.
His low voice rang out sweetly, "Ello? Ah'm Slavarah... Salantblahdeh." He greeted the fae, with a dip of his cranium. He smiled. "An' whow maight yee beh, mah faireh laydieh?" He asked, drawing closer, 'till he was seated a respectful distance of about three feet from her. "Ah'm Subardanateh oh' Tambereh Waods, undereh mah lawrd Tarcian's pawh."

One minute aud flicked as she heard footsteps approaching. She turned her head, and saw a shining silver brujo approaching. Immediately, confident and unshy, she stood up, smiling. Her tan flag, still slightly curled over her back waved in a friendly manner back and forth. When he spoke, she tilted her head sideways. What a strange accent, she thought. Heh, strange, but fascinating. His accent may have been thick, but she understood him fine. Her younger brother, Fautail, often stammered, so she'd gotten used to listening carefully to decipher words.
She giggled, slightly embarassed that he'd called her a fair lady. Her? A fair lady? Her parents had never thought so. Nay, she'd been "A bother and a tyrant!" But she couldn't help her mischeviousness. True, her favorite past-time was waking them up when they were sleeping in many various ways, but hadn't the others had a part in it too?
Tambereh woods. Now that was a bit harder.....Tambereh...Tamber...Timber! Timber Woods- a pack, it must be. She became quite interested, all of a sudden. A flurry of words came to her mouth, but she tempered them, and spoke.
I'm Alera Rosenwey, a bit of a wanderer you might say..Perhaps a bit unfamiliar with these regions....Well, quite frankly, quite lost. I'm sorry, sir Sliver, if I'm trespassing, I've just come a long way, and didn't know where to go and had no place to live and-" Rambling again. She cut herself off before she tripped over her words. She smiled embarassedly up at Sliver. "Well, it's nice to meet you anyway, sir Sliver." She smiled as sweetly as she could, but still felt emarassed. Why was she like this? She'd always felt so confident- even around strangers. Maybe it was the new surroundings, maybe it was the approaching winter, maybe there was something in the catch she'd made earlier- her mother had always told her not to eat leaves- but she couldn't help it when she chased leaves, then jumped and caught one. Dry leaves crackled easily inside the mouth, and it was hard to spit all the pieces back out. Yick! She could still taste the bitter, dry taste. But it was a fun past-time to do when alone. She could hardly wait until winter- snowflakes were much more tummy-friendly.

-Luff!-
He laughed warmly and lowly, "Ser Sliveh?" He asked, quite incredously. His optics widened in mock horror. "Nay, Ah beh naw marah ah 'Sar' then yee a yowng moler." He said, comparing her to... A mole. Sliver Silentblade grinned dementedly, hiding his inner intelligence and sly but not harmful razor's edge cunningness. "Kaddang, oh' cawrse." He apoligized. "Ah wandrereh, eh? Whell, preahapes Ah ken helph yee with that. If'n yee'd lake, Ah'd invate yee tah jawn Tambereh Wawds." The Northern brute offered. He wouldn't mind her being in the pack... He smiled at the thought. Looking up at the sky, he sighed. "When ken et fanalleh turn tah Sprang?" He asked the weather, audials pinned back. "Lawrd Tarcian's whelpehs ae dueh then." He explained good-naturedly to Alera... She was quite pretty... He blushed as he muttered something about 'being Lead Youth Watcher in the past and to be promoted back once the cubs were born.'

"Nay, Ah beh naw marah ah 'Sar' then yee a yowng moler."
.....A mole....? Where....what......? Alera, as you can imagine, was quite puzzled, as to this allusion. Did she look like a mole? Head tipped to the side in befuddlement, she lookeed herself over quickly. Her tail? Nope, too long and bushy, compared to that of a mole, which was short and stubby. Her paws? Dainty, yes, but she hadn't the long digging claws. Her fur? No, definately too long. Her auds? Too pointed. Her eyes? Too big and round. Her nose? She looked down her maw, going slightly cross-eyed. Nope. Definately not a mole maw. She smiled and chuckled, shrugging her shoulders. He was different....but she liked him.
Her auds pricked with acute interest, however at that which he spoke next. If'n yee'd lake, Ah'd invate yee tah jawn Tambereh Wawds." A pack? So soon! She nearly yipped with joy, but contained herself, instead, simply jumping to her feet, flag high and waving. "Oh sir Sliver! Would you really? Oh thank you so much! Oh i'd like, I'd love to join your pack!" She pranced over to him, her position now submissive, but overjoyed. She held her flag low, but it waved frantically back and forth. Her auds were flattened, and she whined with happiness. When she reached him, she licked him underneath his chin, a custom for wolves as they recognized their superior. He may have been subordinate, but at tha moment, he was her savior.
This done, she sat back upon her haunches and beamed at him. Her eyes flitted to the sky, where overhead bare tree branches created a skeleton like canvas. She smiled. "Nay, Sliver, winter must come first! Spring'll be here soon enough." This Torcian, Sliver had spoken of must be the alpha- he'd called him Lawrd Tarcian afterall. She listened, but couldn't quite catch the brute's muttered words...youth watcher....promoted once...were born.. Thinking for a moment, she put the words together. He must like pups then, she thought. She smiled. She liked it when brutes liked pups.

Sliver laughed, then ached his brows. Was she licking him? He chuckled. "Nay, thank naught meh, but tha Alpha's and heires that bind meh to tha packh." He admitted, "Ah was bet ah Wandererre before Ah came here. Likeh yeeh." The pale silver hue'd brute smiled. "Yee ken make yer way around tha Neutral terrah whele yee waiteth, mah ladyie Alerah." He offered, blushing. He swished his tassle, tilting his cranium.
"Ah do hawpe thet Sprang comes sown..." He whimpered quietly, smiling. "Ah'm toh beh re-appainted as Lehd Yawth Watchrer whan tha whelphs cawm." He rejoiced. He wagged his battle plume excitedly, running in a tight circle about Alera. She was really very pretty. She was actually almost just like him. "Do yee laike puphs?"

Her bushy flag thumped dully against the ground as she listened to Sliver speak. His accent fascinated her. Her eyes shone as she looked at him, half out of admiration, half out of curiosity. "mah ladyie Alerah" She laughed lightly, not used to being referred to with such formalities. She lowered her head, slightly embarassed.
But she lifted her head when Sliver began to prance around her. Once again her laughter tinkled like chimes on the air, as she watched him circle about her. She watched him circle and circle, becoming slightly dizzy. Laughing, she called out "Please, sir Sliver, you're making me quite dizzy!!" She laughed, and jumped up, and began to run about. She chuhckled as she went, occasionally jumping into the air, a bright smile on her features.
She paused when Sliver asked her about pups. With a squeal of joy, she lept into the air, so full of vitality. "I think they're darlings!" she crooned, a envious look on her face. How lovely it would be to have fuzzy, warm bodies pressed against her side! She'd dreamed for ages about having pups of her own. To be there, in a den, with her mate and pups- that was heaven on earth to her.
Suddenly filledd with this burst of euphoria, she bounded over to Sliver, and stopped juust in front of him, forepaws splayed, and hind end in the air in a playful mannor. Then she bounded a small distance away, and stood there smiling foolishly. "Come, sir Sliver, let's have a good mock fight!"
Lowering herself to the ground, and flattening her auds, she emitted a small growl, but truth be told, it didn't sound too fearsome. She snapped at the air a few times, but the smile she tried to supress kept coming back onto her features. Not long could this ambivalent fae keep serious!

Sliver was quite pleased that he had found someone that liked whelps almost as much as he did. This was not an insult to Alera, but he loved pups more then any normal wolf does... Mabye more then is healthy. Trotting in another circle, waving his battle plume and lifting all four mittens high, velveteen in the air. At one point he even attempeted to pick up all four mits at once. Because of this, the silvery pelted brute fell onto his side, but was almost instantly up again. He yipped gladly as he stood, wiggling his frame, then heard her initate a play-fight.
He crouched down, wiggling his own hindquarters in consent. "A'ight, mah laydie... Ruhn, fer here Ah cawm!" He crowed, waggling his banner even more ferociously again. With another yip, he lept at her, paws streached out. Missing, he spun back around as soon as he hit the ground, multi-hued optics gleaming happily. Barking to her, he raced towards her, then, suddenly stopped, spinning about in the air, like a trained ice-skater, then back into the chase Sliver went.
