Newcomer, old-comer or returning villager, no doubt you'll enjoy your stay here at Oakleaf Canyon! We are a Harvest Moon based role play forum with engaging plots and events as well as great members and an array of interesting characters. Old favorites from the Harvest Moon games work their way into plots such as sprites and the Harvest Goddess herself. Whether you play the game or not, you'll have no problem fitting in and getting involved with plots and while you're at it, why not start your own mini plot for others to join? So come on in, make a character of your very own, explore the Canyon and be get to know all of us! We won't bite, I promise. ;]

Well, it looks like the sun's out to stay for a little while. Except for when it's not, of course. Evening thunderstorms aren't uncommon during this time of the year but let's just hope those pounding rains are witnessed through a window. No one wants to get stuck out in that mess. Farmers had better get to work on their fields if they haven't already and pray to Goddess there aren't any crop killing droughts!

Sprite Festival
This upcoming celebration of sprites will be held soon in Feathercast Central. Look forward to food, refreshments and a sale on unique items for anyone to purchase. Not to mention whatever else those sprites have in store for everyone...

Plot Openings!
Keep an eye out for upcoming plots affecting everyone in the Canyon, some for the better and others for worse. And those few looking for a thrill, might just get what they want. Sub-plot opportunities will come into play as well so look out for all that madness.

miggy walked over to the girl sitting in the snow along with milo. "im miggy, you might want to stay away from valerie because she is quite the turd. miggy rolled on the ground laughing at another one of her stupid jokes. "sorry about that i just had hot choclate" miggy took a piece of candy out of her pocket and handed it to the girl. "this is a caramel cup, there my favorite, you should try it!" miggy then took the pile of snow out of her pocket and checked through it to see if she had gotten anything.

Tally looked at each of the girls in turn before smileing just slightly, standing up and brushing the icy snow from her pant's bum. She just looks at the candy and smiles a bit before taking it kindly. "Thank you. Um.. I'm Tally. I've just arrived here not long ago." she says, her tone soft and shy-like.

Milo looked sideways to Miggy who was still fighting with Valerie, and tried to ignore her last joke. Sigh...isn't she the odd one? Despite Miggy's oddness, she still was her friend, and decided just to ignore the fighting between her two friends. Looking back to the girl who had just introduced herself as Tally, she smiled and nodded "I'm sure you'll like it here. Would you like to meet a few of my other friends?" she said, trying to read her expression. She could tell she was shy, and added "Or you could just hang out around here, whatever you like."

"I.. suppose having friends in a new place is good..." she says softly, just nodding slightly to herself. "I guess I will meet your friends.." she added even softer. She hugged her arms tight around herself and shivered a bit, staring down at all the snow. "Why do I see people pokeing through the snow? Are they looking for something...?"

"yup" miggy said. "were looking for something special, why dont you go over to the pinata and pick up a pile and search through it, you never know what you may find" miggy then got up and started doing cartwheeles in the snow. She had been sitting for to long.

Tally looks over twords the pinata before walking over, bending down and scooping up a slightly large mass of snow, carrying it back to where she was and sitting down. She just peers at it for a few moments before quietly starting to dig through the icy pile of snow in her lap, her hand shaking from the cold as she does so.
