I have my own species Group: Mayor Posts: 456 Member No.: 1 Joined: 27-May 06	1.) No Spam//; Spam is commonly known as Short Pointless Annoying Messages. Messages like:// "Hi" "Lol" "g2g" "'Hi how are you' she said" are spam, and are very annoying. I don't want to see anything pointless/1 worded anywhere. Please have a point to everything you post--no matter where you are. Please have at least 3 lines (at least 4 would be nice) in your roleplaying posts (such as in the wilderness. But feel free to (rulesbykyn) sit down and roleplay. If you are spotted spamming on purpose (e.g "Tu90398sdoi19ddkalk!!!") you will recieve a warning. If you simply post something too short, you will get a PM, and if you continue, you will get a warning. This INCLUDES double posting, which is self-explanitory. 2.) No flaming or flamebait//; I don't want to see people yelling at eachother--flaming--or probing others for fights.--flamebait--Friendly debating is always ok, but please keep it in the Daily Life section. You can have your characters fight, but please, keep it PG. Another example of flamebait would be saying "Keep away from CarrotPotato395. He's SOOO annoying." in public. If you are going to say something rude--Even if the person is annoying--say it in PM if at all. You may be wondering,'How can I yell at people when I'm sitting on the computer?'. This should clear everything up//; Caps+exclamation marks=yelling. An example would be: "YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!!!" Even replying (rulesbykyn) to flamebait/flame is flame. So just report it to a mod/admin when you see it, and ignore it. 3.) No profanity or sexual content//; I am SO bad at explaining this rule. So, here goes. I don't want to see nude pictures. For South-Park fans, I don't want to see Cha-chas or woo-woo dillies. I don't want to read how you and Billy's character had you know what. So keep it in PM. Go ahead and say, "I had alot of fun last night." In public, but keep it PG. Now, for profanity. I don't want anything worse than the word bastard. Bastard tops it. <<squeak!>> and hell are ok, but I don't want to see your character running around screaming 'DAMMIT' repeatedly. PLEASE never say really bad things like the F word. If I see an F word you will get a warning, no exceptions. Saying things like F* (hence the bleeped-out-ness) and such are ok, but please try not to say it. No stalking other villagers. Refrain from asking how old someone is, where they live, ect. Please do NOT post your picture here. If anything makes you feel there's someone stalking you on the site, PM me or Starreh and we will ban them, and warn other sites if needed. If someone (rulesbykyn) is hiding in your bushes, I doubt there's anything we can do. Throwing muffins has worked well for me in the past. Posting nude pictures will automatically get you banned, saying the F word (or even worse O.O) will get you suspended for a few days, and stalking will get you banned, plus other sites warned about you if necissary. 4.) No magic, futuristic tools, or weapons//; This is a Harvest Moon roleplay. Not a medivel-futuristic roleplay. You can use magic and futuristic tools (such as cars, bars, ect.) in the other roleplay section. Please; this is Harvest Moon. I'm pretty sure there was no magic, no cars or dance clubs, or guns (rulesbykyn) in it. NO WEAOPNS. Feel free to have a rifle in your inventory, but you can't use it. You can only "admire" it in your roleplaying. If I see you shot a bird or even a tree, it will be permanantly removed from your inventory and you will get a warning. 5.) No Godmodding/Godmodling//; [Godmodling] can get very annoying when roleplaying. Godmodling is when you control someone else's character in any kind of ways. There are minor cases of godmodling, and there (rulesbykyn) are major cases of godmoddling;// Person One:Karmyn laughed at him, but she didn't feel it was real. How could she do this to herself? She was pretending to laugh at his jokes, smile at his words, and unerstand his situations; but for what? Person Two:Tamiko was glad he could finally make someone laugh, but he could also hear a hint of sadness in her (rulesbykyn) laugh...he wondered why she would be sad. Was it him? ^^^ Minor case of godmodling. Not a big deal, but if you do it often you will get a PM warning. Continue, and you will get a warning. An example (rulesbykyn) of major godmodling: (Say you were Joebob) "He told her a joke, and Josephine burst into laughter. 'You are sooo funny! I love you, Joebob!" She cried, hugging him." You will get an immediate warning, no exceptions, post deleted. [Godmoding]This means you have your character perfect. For example: "He had good looks, he was smart, funny, and was 100% perfect." another indirect way would be: P1: Alice threw a small stone at him, and hoped that it hit him. She had bad aim, but a powerful throw. P2: Smarble dodged the stone flawlessly, and picked up one and threw it at her. It sped through the air smoothly. (rulesbykyn) It was the best throw anyone could ever hope to do. It was aiming right for her, and it would probably hit, so Smarble just ran off faster than a cheetah into the forest. 6.) Please pay attention/use 'ISO', 'OOC', ect//; [ISO]When roleplaying, check and see if the topic is open; meaning you can roleplay. Below the topic title (or besides it if you are inside the topic), there should be a thing saying "ISO: ----" only the dashes will say 'Open' or someone's character name. Here are some examples of what certain things mean: "ISO: Jenna and Felix"-this would mean the only other people besides the topic poster would be Jenna and Felix. "ISO: Open"-This (rulesbykyn) would mean that anyone can enter the roleplay. If the topic doesn't have an ISO, this automatically means it is open. (ISO means In Search Of) If you entered a roleplay that was not open, and you were not the one they were in search of, all of your posts for that roleplay will be deleted. If someone posts in your closed topic, just ignore them 100% and a mod or admin will delete their posts ASAP. [OOC/BIC]-Please put "OOC:" when you are posting something off topic to the roleplay. Then, post "BIC:" to say you are no longer Out Of Character. (BIC=Back in character) There is no punishment for not doing this, but please do. 7.) No cheating!!!//; Cheating includes adding items to your inventory that you didn't buy, adding up gold to your stash, and multiple accounts. I don't care what you're doing with your accounts or cheating gold, it's NOT FUN TO CHEAT. By cheating, you are only sucking the fun out of the site. If you cheat, you will get punished by the level of it. Double accounts (for any reasons, please state if you have a brother/sister on another account) will get your new account deleted and a warning on your main. 8.) No advertising//;** Advertising is only ok when you have the requirements and it's in the advertising section. Advertising over PM, e-mail, or just any old random roleplaying board is NOT ok, and will result in one warning, and possibly, if it was over PM, PM rights removed. If someone PMs you an advertisement of their site, report them to me IMMEDIATELY, copying and pasting their PM or e-mail.(if it was on the board publicly just report it) If you get a snapshot of their PM/e-mail you get a reward of 400G.
