If you are having trouble logging in, use this guide to troubleshoot.
)It may be because you have entered your password incorrectly. Try re-entering your password. Remember that passwords are case-sensitive. )Try closing the site, and re-opening it. )Sometimes your internet connection can stop you accessing sites and/or entering forums as such. Follow these steps to reboot your connection: Users with Dial-Up service: 1. Close down your internet browser. 2. Follow the neccesary steps to shut down your computer. 3 Wait for at least 30 seconds before turning computer back on. This is because after 30 seconds, it ends all programs and completely turns off. 4. Re-connect to the internet. 5. Open up the forums again and re-try entering. Users with Broadband service: 1. Close down your internet browser. 2. Turn off your ADSL Modem/ Router for a minute. 3. Turn it back on, and re-connect to the internet. 4. Open up the forums again and re-try entering. )Another reason would be that the adapters that are used to connect to your ISP (Internet Service Provider) may be damaged. To repair them (I only know how to do this on AOL), go to the AOL button on the Taskbar located on the bottom right of your moniter screen. Right-click and select "One-Click Fixes". A list will be generated of all the things that will help you connect better. Scroll down until you see "Rebuild Adapters" or something along the lines of that. Click "Fix it for me" and a box will appear on the bottom right of the screen, confirming your choice. Run the fix and if it asks you to restart your computer, do so, then connect again. If any of the above do not work, e-mail me ( aevlorethedragon@aol.com ) your problem and I will get back to you as soon as I can. |
