Becoming a Member, Please read this first before joining

Hello, and welcome to "Pullip After Dark"! Please read the ENTIRETY of this post, as well as the general rules of the board before submitting a request to join.

The original PAD was created for one purpose: A place were seasoned Pullip collectors could talk and hang out without having to worry the endless flooding of newer, younger ones. And now, PAD is back for round 2, hopefully to stay this time!

We welcome new members to our happy home, but before we invite you in to kick off your shoes and chill with us inside, there are some rules we have to go over. (Because you wouldn't just let ANYone inside your house, would you? )

1. Seasoned Pullip collectors only, please! - What does this mean? Well, we'd prefer it if you've been collecting Pullips for at least a year, preferably longer. We're not picking on newer collectors, this is purely to keep the board free of questions being asked and re-asked over and over again. Besides, there are plenty of noob-friendly forums out there that will be happy to answer any and all of your questions. This board just doesn't happen to be one of them.

2. Save the drama for your mama. - We're sorry, but if you're known to stir up trouble on other forums or on LJ, then you're not welcome in here. Likewise, if it's known that you've ripped off someone in a sale or trade, you're also not welcome here.

3. This isn't a place for kids. - Contrary to popular belief, many Pullip collectors aren't little kids. Likewise, every once in awhile, things are probably posted that might not be appropriate for many of the younger collectors that have been popping up as of late. So we'd appreciate it if you were over the age of 16 before you come and join us. PLEASE NOTE that sometimes exceptions can be made. If you're an active member of the Pullip community, and we know you and think you're mature enough, then you're cool in our book.

4. If you can't spell or type like a grown up, then don't bother. - no 1 likes to read posts dat look liek ths!!!! It's really hard to take anything that someone says seriously if they type like a preschooler. :/

5. If you have any problem with this board or it's members, please contact me first - kawaii_miaka(at)yahoo(.)com. Simple as that. Posting annoyed posts on LJ or on another forum is NOT the way to contact me.

6. Read the standard rules of the forum here. - By sending your request to join PAD, you are agreeing to abide by these rules. If you are caught breaking these rules, you will be banned from the forum. Period.

Sounds simple enough right?

Once you sign up, an email will be sent to me and then I will either accept or decline your membership. Please note that if I do not recognize a username or email address, I may assume that it is a troll or a spambot, so if you are on another Pullip forum, it'd be wise to use the same username/email so that we know who you are. Since I do have a job and a life, however, sometimes this will be quick...and sometimes it may take a little time. I will try to get to all of them in a timely manner. (I will also try to post notices when I--or other mods-- are away or on vacation, if I can.)
