Some jerk playing Omniescence + Armageddon effect =

I dunno, Treasure Trove, Capsize, Genesis Wave, Stroke of Genius, ...
Would it really be difficult to find a use for infinite mana in this case?

By the way, why don't you use Rainbow Vale in Zedruu? Seems a natural fit to me. Worst case they give it back to you.

i know there are uses for the mana but id just expect a bunch ofone shot card draw to fuel it. palinchron doesnt seem impressive enough

Yep, I don't think it's possible that the remaining cards to be spoiled will make make me want to buy a box. I doubt I'll even buy lone packs at this point. I'll just trade for the (very few) new cards I want.

i realized just how much bullshit the barrier to entry argument is. they are reprinting RAV DUALS in standard you want to see the barrier to entry after that happens? i sure as hell dont.

i guess ill be getting a box or two then and not more than that since you dont seem interested don.

i will say i vehemently disagree with your assesment of how exciting the set is. it isnt great but it is better than virtually every nonreprint core set. seriously FUCK pre m10

m13 isn't great, though I think thragtusk is sweet and that Void Stalker would have gone in my old Kraj deck for sure.

I approve of Gilded Lotus reprint. I already have like 20-30 and they'll tank in value; but it's good to see them more generally available.

Gilded Lotus sounds cool and all but new lands would've been more exciting for the set. There's nothing else going for this set, hopefully they'll spoil something else cool. If Return to Ravnica does get shock lands, they'll probably be spread out throughout the block. The shock lands would be amazing but I want to see new lands!!! M13 was the perfect set to put them in.

Well, Vile Rebirth certainly is a card. A very nice card for Standard.
