So here's the dealio: I was planning on putting a little GWB token deck together for standard, just to sit in my backpack and collect dust. But do you know what a token deck isn't? An Elf deck, of course. So, while I have my token deck full of terrible commons and uncommons, I'm also flirting with the idea of putting together a semi-serious standard Elf deck. This is what I've got so far... concerns? criticism? cookies?
And if you tell me that I need Craterhoof Behemoths, I will use my Administrative Powers to crucify you. I do think that since you don't have Ezuri to... ensure the win, I feel like Golgari Decoy'd be pretty decent for just pushing damage through unimpeded. A decent number of these decks in Standard can throw out 5 or 6 creatures that don't leave play very easily. I guess Jarad's also good as just burn, though.
Craterhoof'd be good though.... |
