Soul control looks really strong, imo pretty similar to what max sleeves up, i was testing it on cockatrice and i loved how it played. basically i am wondering what people have to lend, and any suggestions for improvements. the one change i will likely make is adding at least 2 to 3 more o-ring for the maindeck.

I like this deck a lot and I'm seriously considering it over Tokens.

Just glancing at it, I'd probably play:

-2 Gideon +1 Sun Titan +1 Grave Titan
-2 Snapcaster +2 Skinrender
-1 Doom Blade +1 Oblivion Ring
-1or2 Sorin +1or2 Forbidden Alchemy
-1 Elspeth Tirel +1 Dissipate

I've played Gideon before and he feels like a fog half the time. There has to be better.

I think Sorin's playable in a control deck, but the guy didn't seem too enthusiastic about it. Also Forbidden Alchemy + Lingering Souls looks amazing.

Snapcaster is still good, but honestly i think Skinrender is just better now partly because of Thalia. And he's a more relevant 3/3.

I've never tested elspeth. She's normally vulnerable to flying... but you have lingering souls. Maybe I should really be increasing her to 2. Using her to board wipe seems really good right now.

...Yeah I'm going to go build this.

what the fuck, this was gonna be my thing...anyways... i think you are underestimating just how good walkers are. gideon really goes to town on a lot of deck and landin 2 or more walkers at a time is unfair

He'd probably be as good/better than Elspeth if the tokens flew. Let Mason design the next planeswalker.

Yeah most of my changes weren't the best. I tried to add more targets for sun titan, but this plan wasn't as strong as mass planeswalkers (I know Elspeth and Gideon are both 5 mana but they are really sweet together). Your manabase is low on blue, so dissipate is right out, but I still like running 4 forbidden alchemy. And for versatility (for game day level), you want snapcaster over skinrender. Turns out the guy on the pro tour who designed the deck knows it better than I do.

I think I would change the deck for game day level by adding 1 or 2 alchemy, taking out 1 doom blade and maybe a snapcaster or think twice.

i have been repeatedly testing this on cockatrice and as you have said the mass of walkers is pretty sweet. i also, as stated before, like your idea of 2x elpeth a lot. if you want to sell them or trade them away i would like to get them. even though i dont have enough blue for dissipate i may want to have 4 in the board to switch with my mana leaks, because i believe there are some matchups where leak is a massive dong.

I doesn't matter how good it is if you can't cast it, and in what matchup is mana leak bad and dissipate good? I think you're underestimating mana leak.
