Yet another award that there was not much competition for this year, but one that is important to the club and that hopefully will be tightly contested in years to come. It is safe to say, however, that even if it was contested-Mitch would still have won.

While he contributed a plethora of knowledge to the club this year, focused mainly on helping the advanced players, he managed to do so with both humor and entertainment. Fairly controversial as a writer, many ideas were challenged and hotly debated both on and off the forums, bringing and encouraging discussion among the best players in the group.

Simply put, no one in the club came close to the quantity or quality of writing he did this year, and the ensuing debate he managed to create has become a permanent fixture in our forums and our club-one that is certain to make everyone better.

It would be remiss not to take this opportunity to thank and praise Chris Barna as well for his tireless work as editor.

There were not many articles this year and I am hoping there will be competition for this award in the future. There isn’t much else to say, but his articles are always well written and intelligent. This year did mark the first time an article was censored because it “attacked” the establishment. Fortunately though, it was still strong enough to push the club in the right direction before getting sent to the trash.
