* The show opens up with a shot high above Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida as it fades to a shot of the empty Universal Studios Sound Stage 21 where we see the Hexagon Ring with the logos of NWA-TNA and the PWA.
As we see video clips of all the participants a voice over from Mike Tenay begins *
Mike: In all the history of professional wrestling there has always been a debate as to which company truly was the best. Tonight history is made as the question finally is answered as The National Wrestling Alliance in association with Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and The Psychotic Wrestling Alliance in association with PWA Schizophrenia and Pyromania present The King of the Mountain Tournament. Seven Matches between the brightest and best stars of NWA-TNA and the PWA to determine which company is the King of the Mountain…
* We see a shot of Dusty Rhodes thinking about the competition when the shot fades into the footage of Phantom Lord invading the Victory Road Pay Per View and him throwing a fireball into Dusty’s face when voice over’s of both men air *
Phantom: YOU WANTED A CHALLENGE RHODES…WELL YOU GOT IT. THE FUTURE OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING IS HERE.
Dusty: PHANTOM…YOU DUN BIT OFF MORE THEN YOU CAN HANDLE SON. YOU HAVE AN EGO THAT WRITES CHECKS THAT YOUR BODY CANT CASH.
Phantom: I AM THE FUTURE OF WRESTLING. TNA WANTS TO CHALLENGE THE PWA? WELL YOU WENT TO THE WRONG PERSON TO ASK THAT CHALLENGE OLD MAN.
*As Dusty is carted away by the medics a voice in the distance begins to fade up *
Shane: PHANTOM I KNOW ALL ABOUT MAKING AN IMPACT. I WAS MAKING AN IMPACT WHILE YOU WERE STILL IN DIAPERS. YOU WANT TO INVADE OUR HOME AND ATTACK A TRUE LEGEND IN THIS SPORT AND EXPECT NOTHING TO HAPPEN? WELL AT THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN ITS GOING TO BE ME AND YOU ONE ON ONE…
* The shot cuts to footage of Shane in the ring and Phantom in the ring as Mike Tenay speaks once again *
Mike: What was a friendly rivalry between two companies now has personal ramifications as the PWA United States Heavyweight Championship is on the line in the main event as Phantom Lord defends against his idol Shane Douglas in the ultimate game of human chess…The Six Sides of Steel and the only way to win is to make your opponent say the words…I QUIT…
* The shot cuts to inside Soundstage 21 as pyro goes off on the stages and different colored flares shoot up from the ring posts and finally one last big burst goes off as the lights come on and we see an evenly split crowd chanting TNA and PWA as the shot cuts down to ringside with Mike Tenay and Don West *
Mike: Hello wrestling fans and welcome to a special broadcast as NWA-TNA and the PWA are bringing to you The King of the Mountain. I’m Mike Tenay and along with me is Don West and Don the speculation and legal ramifications are over. Tonight everything that must be settled will be settled inside the ring.
Don: Mike I have never seen a buzz around an event like this. There are very diverse fans in attendance tonight as we had to turn around thousands who wanted to see this once in a life time event. Tonight we see the King of the Mountain tournament as 7 of the best guys from TNA and the PWA go at it, but the big match of the night could see history made.
Mike: Indeed it can as the PWA United States Heavyweight Championship is on the line in the Six Sides of Steel as I Quit rules are in place as Phantom Lord takes on The Franchise Shane Douglas and Shane is doing this match as not only a favor to Dusty Rhodes but as a way of penance to the NWA for when he threw down the NWA World Heavyweight Title some ten years ago.
Don: Mike last week I had the pleasure of going to an Independent wrestling show where The Franchise was on the card and Mike he looks like he hasn’t missed a step and he looks in amazing condition and I think tonight Phantom Lord doesn’t have any idea of what he is in for once that bell sounds.
Mike: Indeed he doesn’t as Shane Douglas is a master of psychological warfare in that ring and Phantom isn’t even his league when it comes to that but if that wasn’t enough Jessica Jarrett sanctioned this match and it is official. Even if the King of the Mountain has been decided Black Viper will take on Wevv Mang and it will be for the NWA World Television Championship. Don we could potentially see two title changes with the titles going to different promotions.
Don: Man what a situation that would make for all the legal parties involved.
Mike: Indeed it would but right now its time for the first match so lets head up to Jeremy Borash for the official introductions.
Mike: And we are back and TNA is up one to nothing right now and up next is a critical match for the PWA as they could go 0 and two and if that happens they will be deep in a hole early in the show as the competition gets harder.
Don: Indeed they will be Mike but up next we have Bobino taking on Kevin Skiffington and this could be a quit match as Bobino is giving up a foot and almost 70 pounds to Big Nasty.
Mike: From what I’ve seen of Bobino he is a very skilled wrestler and he has beaten much larger opponents. In the ring a height advantage is nothing if you’re flat on your back. Well with that in mind lets head up to JB for the official introductions.
Jeremy: Wrestling Fans the following contest in the King of the Mountain Tournament is scheduled for one fall. * “The Fight Song” by Marilyn Manson comes on * Coming down the Isle he represents Team PWA and he weighs in at 243 Pounds…This is BOBINO. * “Look What The Cat Dragged” In by Poison comes on * His opponent…representing Team NWA he stands 6 feet 11 and he weighs in at 305 Pounds…This is Big Nasty KEVIN SKIFFINGTON.
Mike: And Referee Rudy Charles calls for the bell and we are underway as Bobino starts things off quickly as he jumped Big Nasty as he was getting into the ring. Bobino goes into the ropes and he goes for a clothesline and Skiffington shrugs it off as Bobino goes into the ropes again and again he shrugs it off and Skiffington is asking is that the best you got as Bobino goes into the ropes again and he goes for a third clothesline and Skiffington ducks it and Bobino comes back and he catches Bobino and he plants him with a big side walk slam. Big Nasty quickly is back up and he goes into the ropes and he drops a big elbow right into Bobino’s heart and he goes for a quick pin…1…2…Kickout by Bobino and Skiffington picks him back up and he sends him into the corner and he follows him in with a clothesline and Bobino bounces out and Big Nasty comes running off the ropes and he connects with the big boot and Bobino gets knocked right out of the ring.
Don: Wow what a way to start this match off as Big Nasty is using his size and power to his advantage.
Mike: Indeed he is and he reaches through the ropes and grabs Bobino by the hair and he’s pulling him back up onto the apron and Bobino pulls him down with a stunner across the tope rope and Big Nasty goes flying backward as Bobino quickly gets back into the ring and he starts stomping away on Big Nasty. Bobino brings him back up to his feet and he nails him with a stiff kick right to the leg and another and another and Bobino is going to work on the big man’s legs to bring him down a notch. Big Nasty is hobbling and Bobino goes into the ropes and HE TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A CHOP BLOCK and Bobino quickly starts stomping away on his leg to nod up that thigh and to work on the knee.
Don: What a good strategy by Bobino as he brought him down the mat because now most of Big Nasty’s moves are limited if he takes out the legs.
Mike: Excellent point Don as Bobino has a side leg lock on and Skiffington is trying to reach for the ropes as that huge frame of his is an advantage on the mat and Big Nasty reaches the ropes and Rudy Charles calls for the break and Bobino breaks cleanly as Big Nasty is trying to stand back up and Bobino goes right back to work on him with a big martial arts kick to the leg and another and another and Big Nasty seems to be shrugging them off as he is powering his way back up to his feet. Bobino nails him with a kick to the side and Big Nasty shakes it off and he nails Bobino with a big elbow. Bobino is stunned and Skiffington nails him with another and another and he nails him with a boot to the midsection and he connects with a monster ddt but he cant make the cover as he’s clutching his knee. Skiffington rolls over and he goes for the cover…1…2…Kickout by Bobino.
Don: That was so close. Had Big Nasty rolled over a second sooner this match would be over.
Mike: Team PWA caught a lucky break as Skiffington is getting back up to his feet and he grabs Bobino by the head and he says he’s going for The Nasty DDT and Bobino charges him into the corner. Bobino nails him with a shoulder and another and another in the corner and Bobino is nailing him with rights and lefts and he connects with a big kick right to the head and Big Nasty falls down to the mat and now Bobino is saying its over as he’s picking Skiffington back up and he goes behind and he’s gonna try for the Fire Thunder Driver and Big Nasty blocks it and he spins around and he goes for The Nasty DDT again and again Bobino blocks it and he breaks free and he nails him with a kick right to the knee and Big Nasty is down to a knee and Bobino quickly goes behind him and he’s on the second rope and he pulls Big Nasty in as he’s going for the Darwinism…his version of the Diamond Dust and Skiffington blocks it and he pulls him onto his shoulder…Big Nasty might be going for a Tombstone and Bobino breaks free and he goes for an inside cradle…1…2…3.
Jeremy: THE WINNER OF THE MATCH VIA PINFALL IS BOBINO…The King of the Mountain Tournament is now tied at 1 match apiece.
Bobino-4.5
Kevin Skiffington-4
Don: What a great match that was as Bobino went to work on the big man and in the end he won it with a great classic wrestling move.
Mike: Indeed it was as many world championships have been won and lost with that very move as now we are tied at one apiece. Well fans we have to take a break when we come back two of the heavy hitters for the NWA and PWA are in action as Grim Reaper takes on Son of Repoman. The winner of this match could determine which team wins the tournament. Fans we’ll be right back.
*The shot cuts to commercial as Bobino walks up the ramp celebrating as the shot cuts to Jessica Jarrett’s office where she is seen lightly applauding as PWA Owner Villiano celebrates the much needed win. *
Mike: And we are back and things are tied up at 1 match apiece and up next we should what promises to be a good old fashion dog fight as two of the heaviest hitters take the ring as Grim Reaper takes on Son of Repoman and Don what can you tell us about Repo.
Don: Well Mike is one of the PWA’s most loved stars as he has taken on just about everyone in the company. He has a lot of power and speed and if it comes down to it he has a crowbar that gets the job done. As it stands right now Reaper has about eight inches and well over 200 pounds on Repo, but Repo has taken down many big men in his time so this match should be hard hitting from the start to finish.
Mike: Indeed it will be as Grim Reaper is Team NWA’s monster and Jessica Jarrett is looking for Reaper to make quick work of Repo. Well fans lets head up to Jeremy Borash for the official introductions to this one.
Jeremy: Wrestling Fans the following contest in The King of the Mountain is scheduled for one fall. * Piledriver by Koko B. Ware comes on * Introducing first…He hails from The Garage on St. Charles Avenue and he weighs in at 260 Pounds…This is SON OF REPOMAN. His opponent…* Killed by Death by Motorhead comes on * Coming down the isle he stands 7 feet 2 and he weighs in at 477 Pounds…This is GRIM REAPER.
Don: Mike how can things possibly look good for Team PWA. Repo is their biggest wrestler and even his is dwarfed by Grim Reaper.
Mike: I don’t know Don as the bell rings and Reaper is standing in the middle of the ring as Repo goes up to him and he is looking up at him as both men are in the middle of the ring and Repo backs away as Referee Andrew Thomas calls for the bell and Reaper is offering to lock up and Repo takes the offer and they tie up in the middle of the ring and Reaper powers Repo down to the mat as his size and strength comes into play early on in this match.
Don: Wow Reaper flung him half way across the ring when he over powered him. I sometimes thing Reaper doesn’t even know how strong he is.
Mike: I think he does, but he likes to still impress people as he locks up with Repo again and Repo this time goes behind and he tries to take Reaper down but Reaper wont budge and Reaper counters and takes him down with a reverse judo throw and Repo rolls out to the floor as the crowd starts chanting TNA as Reaper rolls out to the floor and he’s chasing after Repo and Repo rolls into the ring and Reaper follows him in and Repo nails him with a knee right to the back and another and another and Reaper is still getting back to his feet as Repo goes into the ropes and he nails him with big kick right to the stomach and Reaper is dazed and Repo connects with a big swinging neck breaker. Repo goes for a quick cover and he barely gets a one count as Grim Reaper is nowhere near worn down.
Don: Man I think Repo is a bit perplexed right now because theres no way he can hit most of his big moves on a guy this size. He’s basically reduced to hitting and running.
Mike: Well that might be the case, but stranger things have happened in wrestling as Repo grabs Reaper by the hair and he brings him up to his feet and he has him in the corner and he nails him with a big knife edged chop and another and another and Reaper is feeding off them and he nails him with another and Reaper grabs him and spins him around and he nails Repo with a big open hand chop to the chest that damn near caves in his chest and he whips him out into the ropes and he catches him with The Claw and he might be going for The Plague and Repo breaks free with a kick to the midsection and he goes into the ropes and he nails him with a flying forearm and Reaper is dazed as he goes back into the ropes and he nails him with another and Reaper is starting to wobble and Repo goes back into the ropes and HE CONNECTS WITH THE YAKUZA KICK. REAPER GOES DOWN AND REPO GOES FOR THE COVER…1…2…KICKOUT BY GRIM REAPER.
Don: MY GOD WHAT A KICK TO THE HEAD HE JUST GAVE HIM. I don’t think anyone has ever nailed Grim Reaper with a shot like that.
Mike: And it looks like its taken its toll as the big man is dazed and Son of Repoman rolls him over and Repo says he’s going up to the top rope. Repo is up on the top and he leaps and he connects with the elbow right into the heart of Grim Reaper and he goes for the cover…1…2…KICKOUT BY GRIM REAPER AND REAPER IS BACK UP TO HIS FEET. Repo nails him with a right hand and another and another and he tries to shoot him into the ropes and Reaper counters and he sends him in and he goes for a big boot and its ducked and Repo rebounds into the ropes and he nails him with a clothesline and Reaper doesn’t go down as he goes into the ropes again and again he nails him with a big clothesline and Reaper doesn’t go down and he goes into the ropes for a third time and Reaper ducks the clothesline and Repo comes running back AND REAPER LEVELS HIM WITH THE DEAD END SPEAR.
Don: Wow that looked like a Semi hitting a Volvo.
Mike: No kidding as Grim Reaper picks Repo back up and Repo is out on his feet and Reaper has him set up for The Death’s Call…his powerbomb’s into that monstrous F-5 and he tries to pick him up and Repo blocks it by holding onto his leg and Reaper nails him with a big clubbing blow to the back and he tries again and again Repo blocks it by holding onto the leg again and Reaper stands him back up and Repo nails him with a big forearm to the face and what in the hell…REPO GOES FOR A BODY SLAM AND HE CONNECTS. MY GOD HE JUST BODY SLAMMED THE 477 POUND GRIM REAPER AND BOTH MEN ARE DOWN.
*A PWA Chant breaks out in Studio 21 as everyone is in awe of the strength needed to slam Grim Reaper *
Don: MY GOD MIKE THAT WAS INCREDIBLE. I DIDN’T THINK WE WOULD EVER SEE GRIM REAPER BE SLAMMED.
Mike: Repo must of used ever last bit of energy he had left in him as Reaper is pulling himself back up to his feet and he grabs Repo by his shirt and stands him back up and REPO FAKES HIM OUT AND NAILS A DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN AND HE FLOATS OVER FOR A PINNING BRIDGE…1…2…KICKOUT BY GRIM REAPER. And now a Repo chant is starting in this building as Repo is back to his feet and he nails Reaper with a kick right to the stomach as he was getting up and REPO IS GOING FOR THE PAYMENT DUE…Repo is trying to lift him up but he cant get Reaper off his feet and Reaper nails him with another clubbing forearm to the back and he quickly has him in the fireman carry…can he nail The Death’s Call…NO REPO BREAKS FREE AND HE TRIES FOR ANOTHER BODY SLAM AND ITS BLOCKED AND REAPER REVERSES IT AND HE HAS HIM UP FOR THE JUDGEMENT SLAM TOMBSTONE AND HE CONNECTS. COVER AND COUNT…1…2…3.
Jeremy: THE WINNER OF THE MATCH VIA PINFALL AND NOW GIVING TEAM NWA A TWO TO ONE LEAD IS GRIM REAPER.
Grim Reaper-4.5
Son of Repoman-4
Don: MIKE WHAT AN INCREDIBLE MATCH. I don’t think anyone expected them to pull out the stops like that as Son of Repoman took Grim Reaper to the limit.
Mike: And indeed it might just be a match of the year contender for both companies but more importantly Team NWA now leads two to one…
*As we see Son of Repoman and Grim Reaper walking up the ramps to huge ovations the shot cuts to the back and Jessica Jarrett’s office where we see her with a huge grin on her face *
Jessica: Perhaps I don’t give Mr. Rhodes enough credit, I am enjoying this tournament.
Villiano: Don’t get so confident Miss Jarrett, the night is still young and one of my youngest stars Biggie could easily turn the tide right back for us.
Jessica: Yes that is true, but like you said the night is still young and that tide might never come for you. But before the next match we must discuss a precarious situation our companies are in right now. Potentially you could walk away with my World Television Championship and I could walk away with your United States Heavyweight Championship. Now I know your not that fond of Phantom…in my dealings with him to say he has come off as an egotistical jerk would be an understatement.
Villiano: Oh I have more words I could use for him, but this is a family show. We’ll deal with that bridge when we come to it. Personally I wouldn’t mind if The Franchise won the United States Title. I mean he would be a great edition to the PWA…
Jessica: I beg your pardon. If The Franchise wins the title then he will be dubbed the brand new NWA United States Heavyweight Champion. Kind of ironic considering the circumstances ten years ago in Philadelphia when he won the NWA World Title.
Villiano: Oh I’m sure the Internet would just have a field day with a story like that, but like I said we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. I mean should Wevv Mang win the Television title we wouldn’t really have a need for it since we all ready have a TV Title.
* Jessica flashes him a grin as a production assistant tells her the next match is up *
Jessica: Well it looks like its time for our next match.
* Jessica raises her cup of champagne *
Jessica: May the best company win.
Villiano: We intended to…We intended to.
*They toast and then drink as the shot cuts back out to the floor *
Mike: Well fans it looks like Miss Jarrett and Villiano are in the competive spirit as this tournament is heating up. This next match could tie things up or put the PWA up against a wall as Anubis takes on Biggie and Don this one looks like it will be a change from the other matches as it might just be a good old fashion fight from start to finish.
Don: Oh yeah Anubis hates everyone and Biggie has a huge ego. This one wont be pretty folks.
Mike: Well if it does become a brawl you have to wonder how much they will be allowed to go. Well in any event lets head up to the ring and Jeremy Borash for the official introductions to this one.
Jeremy: Wrestling Fans the following contest in The King of the Mountain Tournament is scheduled for one fall. * “Switchback” by CellDweller comes on * Introducing first representing Team NWA he weighs in at 225 pounds…This is ANUBIS. His opponent…* Just a Baby Boy - Tyrese Ft. Snoop comes on * He hails from New Perth City, Australia and he weighs in at 90 Kilo’s…This is BIGGIE.
Mike: And we are quickly underway as Rudy Charles calls for the bell as Anubis slides out to the floor and he and Biggie are brawling at ringside. Anubis whips Biggie into the guardrails and he goes to follow him in with a clothesline and Biggie gets the boot up and Anubis is dazed and Biggie tries to go for a suplex on the floor and its blocked and Anubis rams him back first into the ring apron and Biggie stumbles forward and Anubis levels him with a clothesline and Biggie is down on the floor as Anubis rolls into the ring and Referee Rudy Charles is reading him the riot act right now.
Don: Do you really think he cares about breaking the rules?
Mike: He’ll care if he gets disqualified and Team NWA loses because of it and Anubis grabs Biggie through the ropes and he brings him back up onto the ring apron and he nails him with a big forearm to the head and he sets up for a suplex and he goes to suplex him into the ring and he has him up and Biggie gets free and he drops behind and he goes for a German Suplex and he connects and he has him for the pin…1…2…Kickout by Anubis. Biggie quickly is back up and he starts stomping away on Anubis and Anubis gets back up to a knee and he nails him with a big right hand to the stomach and another and another and Biggie is dazed and Anubis is back up and he connects with a swinging neck breaker and now Anubis is back up and he’s going to work on the upper body as he no doubt wants to nail Biggie with The Brain Spike.
Don: If he hits that this one will be all over for Team PWA. There is no way they can come back from 3-1 with Josh Nite’s match up next.
Mike: Indeed that is true as Anubis picks Biggie up and he whips him into the corner and he follows him in with a big clothesline and Biggie goes down and Anubis starts stomping away on him in the corner and Rudy Charles pulls him off and Anubis is getting into his face and Biggie takes the opportunity to grab him from behind and he throws him into the corner and Biggie is nailing him with rights and lefts and now he gets pulled away by Rudy Charles and Biggie shoves Rudy Charles and Anubis comes running and he nails Biggie with a take down and he starts firing away with right hands. Anubis picks Biggie back up and he nails him with a boot to the midsection and he goes for the Dark Spiral but Biggie blocks it and he turns him around…NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX…1…2…KICKOUT BY ANUBIS. Biggie picks him back up and he slams him down to the mat and Biggie makes his way outside and he’s climbing up to the top rope. Biggie is up top and Anubis is back up and he grabs the ropes and Biggie is crotched on the top turnbuckle.
Don: I think that’s gonna ruin his plans for later tonight. Biggie is a self-professed ladies man in case you haven’t noticed.
Mike: Believe me Don I have as Anubis climbs up to the second rope and he nails Biggie with a big chop to the chest and he’s setting up for a Superplex and Biggie blocks it and he nails him with a right hand and another and another and Anubis is going to fall back…NO BIGGER GRABS A HOLD…WHAT IN THE…OH MY GOD…BIGGIE CONNECTS WITH A SECOND ROPE CHOKESLAM. THAT WAS THE SUPERIOR ATTACK. COVER AND COUNT…1…2…3.
Jeremy: The winner of the match via pinfall is BIGGIE. The King of the Mountain Tournament is now tied at Two matches a piece.
Biggie-3.5
Anubis-3
Don: Wow Mike what a move off the second rope. He had to be at least 10 feet in the air before he planted Anubis in the middle of the ring.
Mike: Indeed as it was an amazing move but more importantly we are tied at two. Every time Team NWA wins, Team PWA rallies to tie it back up. The next match between Josh Nite and Valleyboy could very well swing the momentum one way or another in this tournament.
* The shot cuts to the back and we see Jessica Jarrett having another glass of champagne as Villiano celebrates the win *
Villiano: Miss Jess I do believe we are all tied up. IT’S A CELEBRATION.
Jessica: Mr. Villiano I wouldn’t get to confident because Josh Nite is up next and he’s taking on your friend Valleyboy. I’ve seen Valley’s work and he doesn’t compare to Josh Nite.
Villiano: Now Jess that’s up for debate…
* Villiano grabs the bottle of champagne and sees its empty *
Villiano: Damn…we’re out all ready. I better get a refill.
* Villiano whistles and suddenly the door opens and then slams shut and we see Vil’s trusted sidekick Lou The Midget with a bottle of champagne in hand *
Jessica: Mr. Villiano I don’t think you’ve introduced me to your assistant.
Villiano: Oh yeah I’m sorry. Miss Jarrett may I please introduce my executive assistant Lou. Lou has been with me for many years and don’t let the looks fool you…he’s very agile for a guy his size.
Jessica: Well its an honor to meet you.
* Lou tugs on Jessica’s dress and points to the tv *
Jessica: Thank you for pointing it out. While we’ve been talking the next match is ready to start.
Villiano: I normally don’t gloat, but Valley is my friend and fellow tough guy and he’s gonna beat you’re A.J. clone.
Jessica: We shall see Mr. Villiano, We shall see.
* The shot goes back out to the floor as Villiano and Jessica go back to watching the show *
Mike: Well fans we’re back and up next it could be another match of the year candidate for both companies as Josh Nite takes on Valleyboy and Don this one could very well determine who wins or loses the tournament.
Don: With out a doubt right now the tension in the respective locker rooms is running high as one mistake could cost either company the King of the Mountain Trophy. That’s so much pressure and we still have two matches after this.
Mike: Indeed Don this match could determine the importance of those next two but right now its time for the introductions so lets head up to the ring and to Jeremy Borash for the official introductions.
Jeremy: Wrestling Fans the following contest in the King of the Mountain Tournament is scheduled for one fall. * “All My Life” by Foo Fighters comes on * Introducing first representing Team NWA…he weighs in at 215 Pounds This is THE PEGASUS JOSH NITE. His opponent…* Cochise by Audioslave comes on * He hails from Annapolis Valley Nova Scotia, Canada and he weighs in at 245 Pounds…This is VALLEYBOY.
Mike: And Valley slides into the ring and Nite is staring him down from across the ring as Referee Andrew Thomas checks Valley for any foreign objects and he signals he’s clean and he calls for the bell and Valley and Nite go to the center of the ring and Valley has a slight height advantage and about 30 pounds on Nite but other then that they are evenly matched in speed in strength so this one should be a fairly equal match.
Don: Valleyboy is a legend in the PWA and other Indy feds in Canada and he’s come into this match not only to get a huge win in the tournament but to also show that a new chapter in his career is ready to be written.
Mike: The same can be said for Nite as he is carving his own name into the TNA as both men lock up and Nite quickly goes behind and he takes Valley down to the mat and Valley rides him out and gets a switch and now he goes behind and he takes down Nite to the mat and now Nite breaks free and he grabs a hold of Valley’s arm and he and he takes him over with a fireman’s carry and Valley quickly is back up and he takes Nite over with one of his own and both men are back up to their feet and they have their hands up and we have a stand off to start this match as the crowd is chanting for both men.
Don: Its gonna be so hard to call to predict who might win this one since they seemingly have each other so well scouted right now.
Mike: Indeed it looks that way Don, but it just takes one mistake and that’s all you need as they lock up again and we have a test of strength going right now and Nite gets the early advantage as he is powering Valley down and Valley is rallying back and now he’s pushing Nite down and Nite powers back up and he uses his foot to break the lock and he nails Valley with a big chop to the chest and follows it up with a forearm and he quickly sends Valley off into the ropes and he goes for a clothesline but its ducked and Valley comes back and he nails Josh with a big flying forearm. Nite quickly rolls out to the floor and he looks like he cant he got hit with that.
Don: No kidding Mike, that’s a move Josh loves to do and Valleyboy knocked him silly with it.
Mike: And Josh hops back up onto the apron and he gets back into the ring and he walks right up to Valleyboy and he slaps the taste right out of his mouth and Valleyboy nails him with a slap of his own and this own is breaking down quickly as Valley nails him with a big chop to the chest and another and another and now Josh fires back with a chop and another and another and the Wooo’s are echoing in this building. Valley fires back with a right hand and another and another and Nite nails him with one of his own and another and another and he goes for a clothesline and Valley ducks it and he spins around and Valley levels him with a big clothesline and Nite rolls out to the floor.
* Valley goes to run for a dive to the floor but Josh Nite wisely moves out of the way and as he breaths a sigh, Valley slides out of the ring and he spins him around and he nails him with a big right hand *
Don: Wow did he ever connect with that right hand.
Mike: Indeed he did as he picks Nite back up and he rolls him into the ring and Valley is on the ring apron and he slingshots himself back in and connects with a senton and he quickly goes for the cover…1…2…Kickout by Josh Nite. Valley picks him back up and he has him up for a suplex and he holds him up and he drops him across the top rope and he completes the sling shot suplex. He quickly is back up and he goes into the ropes and with shades of Mr. Wonderful he connects with The Valley Elbow. He goes for the cover again…1…2…Kickout by Josh Nite again and now Valleyboy is starting to wonder if he can beat him.
Don: He’s hit him with some of his biggest moves and Nite keeps coming back. What else does he have to do?
Mike: Indeed Don as Valley picks him back up and he has him set up and I think he’s going for The Valleybomb…he has him up AND NITE REVERSES IT INTO A DDT AND DID HE EVER SPIKE HIM WITH IT. Nite is back up and he goes into the ropes and he connects with a running moonsalt and he goes for the cover…1…2…KICKOUT by Valleyboy.
Don: Wow that was so close. Another half second and Nite would of won.
Mike: Indeed as Josh picks Valley back up and he whips him into the corner and he follows him in with a clothesline and he quickly goes onto the apron and he springs back up for the hurricanranna an Valleyboy counters it into The Valleybomb spinebuster. Cover…1…2…Kickout by Josh Nite and just like that Valleyboy is back in this match as he picks Nite back up and Valley says that’s it and he is going for the Annapolis Valley Driver and he picks Nite up and he has him up on his shoulders and NITE BREAKS FREE AND HE GOES BEHIND AND HE TAKES VALLEY DOWN WITH HIS LEGS FOR THE PIN AND HE HAS THE BRIDGE…1…2…3.
Ring Announcer: The winner of the match by pinfall is JOSH NITE. TEAM NWA NOW LEADS THREE TO TWO.
Josh Nite-4.5
Valleyboy-3
Don: What a great move by Josh Nite. He used his speed and flexibility to take Valleyboy down and then bridged him for the pin.
Mike: And now Team NWA is in the lead and Rocky V could win the tournament for TNA. Fans we have to take a break. We’ll be right back. Rocky vs. Showstoppa is up next.
*The shot fades as Valleyboy looks dejected as Josh Nite celebrates on the stage *
Mike: And fans we are back and up next is a match that has the up most importance to the PWA because if they lose…they lose the tournament. Rocky V takes on Showstoppa and neither man wants to blow this for his team.
Don: The pressure is mounting in both locker room’…but you can feel it building for Team NWA. They are on a roll and they have been the dominate team as they have out matched everyone so far tonight. I cant wait for this match but if Rocky wins this match then the following match with Black Viper and Wevv Mang could ruin the celebration for TNA especially if Viper loses the NWA World Television Title.
Mike: Well Don lets not get ahead of ourselves. I mean yes it would be a downer but that’s only if Wevv can beat him. Well fans we’re ready for this important match so lets head up to Jeremy Borash for the official introductions.
Jeremy: Wrestling Fans the following contest in the King of the Mountain Tournament is scheduled for one fall. * Immortal by Adema comes on * Introducing first he represents TEAM NWA and he Stands 7 Feet tall and he weighs in at 300 Pounds…THIS IS ROCKY V. His opponent * "Nothing Left to Lose" by Puddle of Mudd comes on * He represents Team PWA and he weighs in at 215 Pounds…This is SHOWSTOPPA.
Mike: And Andrew Posey calls for the bell as Showstoppa slides into the ring and he attacks Rocky V to start this off as he is giving up a lot of height and weight to Rocky. Showstoppa is nailing him with kicks and punches and Rocky seems to be absorbing them and Rocky nails him with a big right hand and he shoots him off into the ropes and he goes for a clothesline and Showstoppa ducks it and spins around and he jumps and he nails Rocky with a big jumping Enziguri that got him in the back and Rocky is dazed and Showstoppa is lined up and he goes for The Showtune…his version of the superkick and Rocky grabs him by the foot and he levels him with a big clothesline.
Don: Wow Rocky is looking so dominant right now in this match. I think we’re gonna win this one Mike.
Mike: Don’t speak so soon Don as Rocky picks Showstoppa back up and he nails him with a big open hand chop to the chest and he whips him into the corner and he goes to nail him with a clothesline and Showstoppa gets the boot up and Rocky is dazed and Showstoppa quickly hops up to the second rope and he grabs Rocky…Showstoppa sets up for a Tornado DDT and he jumps and Rocky pushes him off and Showstoppa is back up AND ROCKY CONNECTS WITH A BIG ROUNDHOUSE CLOTHESLINE and Rocky says that’s it as he picks Showstoppa back up and he’s going for The Outsider’s View and he has him up AND HE CONNECTS.
Don: Man did he ever plant him with that.
Mike: Rocky goes for the cover…1…2…FOOT ON THE ROPES. Showstoppa was damn near driven through the mat but he still had the presence of mind to get his foot on the ropes. Showstoppa picks him back up and he slams him down to the mat and he quickly goes for The Texas Cloverleaf and he has it locked on in the center of the ring. Showstoppa is screaming in pain but he refuses to give up and he’s using all his energy to try and reach the ropes and he’s starting to make ground towards it and Rocky stands back up and pulls him back into the middle of the ring and now he’s really sitting down on him AND SHOWSTOPPA TAPS. ITS OVER…TEAM NWA WINS!!!
Jeremy: The winner of the match by Submission is ROCKY V AND THE WINNER OF THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN TOURNAMENT IS TEAM NWA.
Rocky V-4
Showstopper-3.5
Don: WHAT A MATCH MIKE…WHAT A MATCH. Showstoppa tried to do everything he could but in the end the size and strength of Rocky proved to be to much for him.
Mike: What a victory by Rocky and What a victory for Team NWA as they win Four matches to two and up next will be Viper vs. Wevv Mang. The superior company has been named…but who will lay claim to the title of best wrestler on television. Fans before we get ready for that match, we want to take you to a video that was shot earlier today as Phantom Lord arrived at Universal Studio’s under heavy security with his lawyer Alexei Sayle.
* The shot cuts to the footage from earlier in the day *

* We see an Armored Assault SWAT Vehicle from the Florida Highway Patrol pull up and two heavily armed Police officers open up the hatch and they check and give an all clear sign and flanked by his Consigliore Alexei Sayle, Phantom Lord steps out of the vehicle when Scott Hudson greets him with a microphone and camera *
Officer One: STAY WHERE YOU ARE. WE HAVE ORDERS TO DETER ALL THREATS.
Phantom: Gentlemen you can stand down. This is Scott Hudson…he’s one of the gopher’s in the back for TNA. What can I do for you Scott.
Scott: Phantom what is the meaning of this. Where did you have the gal to show up in an armored car with police with guns?
Phantom: Alexei…you mind handling this one?
Alexei: Da no problem Mr. Phantom. You see Comrade Hudson, Mr. Phantom is a very important man and he has friends in very high places. Mr. Phantom placed a telephone call to the leader of this state…what is his name…
Phantom: Jeb…I called Jeb Bush. The Bush’s and me are good friends.
Alexei: Yes he placed a call to Jeb and Jeb said no problem and personally signed an order to have these fine lawmen escort us to this concrete swamp.
Scott: Well Phantom the question I think everyone has on their mind is are you scared of Shane Douglas and what he will do if he gets a hold of you before the PPV.
Phantom: Hudson that is slander to say I am scared. I asked for the protection because of these damn redneck fans that I have heat with. So I tried to Barbeque Dusty Rhodes…I’m not the first one to try to do that. I mean hell The Road Warriors stabbed him on live television. What I did was mild compared to what he has done to countless wresters. There are wrestlers from my father’s generation who called me up and said thank you Phantom for taking out that old piece of…
Scott: Whoa…this is TNA. You cant use language like that.
Phantom: I was going to say Trash you bald headed goon. So yeah I have all this heat with these rednecks and I’m not taking any chances.
*Suddenly we see Dusty Rhodes come walking up into the picture and the police form a barrer between Phantom and him *
Dusty: Simma down nah boys simma down nah. You see I’m not here to cause any trouble. I’m here because Phantom you is a guest in TNA’s home and we wanted to make sure you had everything you wanted.
Phantom: Well Dusty its nice to see you have no ill feelings…
Dusty: You know if I were a few years younger and a few pounds lighter then it would be me an you in that cage tonight and I’d give you the whooping yo daddy never gave you.
Phantom: Come on Dusty when you were a few years and pounds lighter you were still a fat old man.
*Phantom motions for the police to step aside and they do and Phantom gets face to face with Dusty *
Phantom: You know its to bad you couldn’t fight because I would of loved to of painted this building with your blood.
Dusty: Well umm Phantom I never said I couldn’t fight but if anyone’s blood is going to be used as paint its going to be yours. Shane has promised me he’s going to show a side of The Franchise that hasn’t been seen in ten years.
Phantom: Ah yes the savior of the NWA. Isn’t it ironic when TNA is in the crapper the man who started the downward spiral for the NWA is the one who has stepped up to the plate. You know if I were in Shane’s shoes ten years ago I wouldn’t of thrown down the NWA Title. I mean I hate all you old bastards who wont just retire so you don’t drop dead in the ring…but I wouldn’t of thrown down the belt. I would of taken that title to new heights that you couldn’t even dream of back in the 40’s when you were champion.
Dusty: You think your cute don’t you. You see Phantom you should shine up that US title belt because that’s as close as your ever going to come to the brass ring. There are men in this business who will always be one step below and you are one of them.
* Phantom looks visibly angry when Dusty said that *
Phantom: Is that what you said to Magnum T.A. before you cut the brakes?
Dusty: YOU SON OF A BITCH…
* Dusty lunges for Phantom and Phantom nails him with the PWA United States title belt and before he can do anything else Shane Douglas comes running with a steel chair and Phantom and Alexei take off running with the police as Shane checks on Dusty *
Shane: You all right?
Dusty: Oh I’m fine but promise me one thing Shane, tonight teach that city boy a lesson in manners.
Shane: I’ll give him a belly to belly that would make Magnum proud.
Mike: And we are back and fans it is time for what promises to be a classic as the heat between these two has been building ever since the tournament was announced, But now that TNA has won the tournament the PWA has the chance for a last laugh as they could walk away with the NWA Television title. Don its Black Viper vs. Wevv Mang and right now Jessica Jarrett and Villiano must been going nuts over the ramifications of this one.
Don: Oh yeah no kidding. I mean we could lose the NWA World Television title. That title has shot off the careers of so many legends in this industry. Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Tully Blanchard, Ricky Steamboat, Steve Austin, Scott Steiner…THEY’VE ALL HELD THIS TITLE. Legends have been made by winning this belt and the last thing TNA needs is to lose a big piece of the NWA’s legacy.
Mike: I couldn’t of said it better myself Don. Fans lets head up to the ring for the official introductions.
Jeremy: Wrestling Fans the following contest scheduled for one fall is for the NWA WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP. * “Amberdawn” by Yngwie Malmsteen comes on * Introducing first he is accompanied to the ring by his bodyguard Mr. Wang and he hails from Lake Forrest, Illinois and he weighs in at 240 Pounds…He is the Captain of Team PWA…This is WEVV MANG.
* Mr. Wang holds the ropes open for Wevv and Wevv gets into the ring to a huge chorus of boos from all the fans *
Jeremy: HIS OPPONENT…* "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin comes on * Coming down the isle he is the Captain of Team NWA and he weighs in at 242 Pounds and he is the current reigning and defending NWA TELEVISION CHAMPION OF THE WORLD…THIS IS BLACK VIPER.
Mike: And Viper gets into the ring as Wevv and Mr. Wang stare him down and Viper hands the television title belt off to Referee Rudy Charles and Wevv takes alook at it and he motions that the belt is his after this match and Rudy shows it up to the crowd and he hands it off to JB and he calls for the bell as Mr. Wang exits the ring and Viper and Wevv come face to face and eye to eye in the middle of the ring and Wevv is doing some big trash talking and he hauls off and slaps the taste right out of Viper’s mouth.
* Wevv gloats to the crowd and he turns around and Viper nails him with a slap of his own *
Don: Wow did he ever slap him silly.
Mike: Indeed and Wevv throws a right hand and its blocked by Viper and Viper takes him down with a double leg trip and he starts hammering away on Wevv in the middle of the ring. Viper quickly is back up and he picks up Wevv and he sends him into the ropes and he catches him with a big back body drop and Wevv is back up and Viper nails him with a drop kick and Wevv rolls out to the floor and he quickly cowers behind Mr. Wang as Viper has this crowd on its feet.
Don: I don’t think Wevv Mang expected any of this when he came into this match. His brilliant plans have backfired.
Mike: Well Don I have a feeling he still has a trick left up his sleeve if he needs it as Wevv gets back into the ring and Viper is challenging him to tie up and Wevv turns to the crowd and tells them to shut up and Viper sneaks over and he turns Wevv around and he nails him with a big chop to the chest and another and another and he sends Wevv into the ropes and Wevv comes back and he goes for a clothesline and Viper ducks it and Wevv turns around and Viper takes him down with a big arm drag. Wevv is back up and Viper takes him down with another arm drag and he hangs on and quickly locks on a wristlock and he has Wevv grounded early in this match.
Don: Wevv is completely off his game right now and Viper looks to be in complete control right now.
Mike: From the start these two have been getting at each other and now Viper has played that heat perfectly as he controls the pace of this match. Wevv gets up to a knee and he breaks free and he takes Viper over with a fireman’s carry and he slaps on a side head lock. Viper is quickly back up to he’s knee and now he’s on his feet and he pushes Wevv off into the ropes and Wevv comes back and takes him down with a shoulder block. Wevv goes back into the ropes again as Viper gets back up to his feet and he leap frogs Wevv as he is coming back and Wevv comes charging back and Viper takes him down with a big hip toss. Wevv is back up and Viper elevates him way up into the lights with a big back drop and once again Wevv rolls out to the floor and he is kicking the guard rails as he is completely off his game.
* Wevv has a mini conference with Mr. Wang and Viper takes the opportunity to get up onto the top rope and as they turn around he takes both of them out with a big cross body to the floor. Viper promptly gets back up and grabs Wevv and throws him back into the ring as the crowd chants for him *
Don: WHAT AN AMAZING MOVE. DID YOU SEE HOW HIGH HE WAS BEFORE HE TOOK THEM OUT.
Mike: Viper got some serious hang time before he took them out and now Viper is back up on the apron and he climbing up to the top rope and Mr. Wang grabs Viper’s boot and Wevv nails Viper with a forearm and Viper is crotched on the top rope and Wevv quickly climbs up to the top rope. Wevv is on the top rope with him and he has him hooked up AND HE CONNECTS WITH THE TOP ROPE SUPERPLEX. Wevv with the instinct to cover…1…2…Kickout by Black Viper.
Don: Wow what a move by Wevv Mang as he used that cheap opening created by the mysterious Mr. Wang to nail a vicious move off the top rope.
Mike: And just like that the tide has turned around as Wevv picks Black Viper back up and he whips him into the corner and Wevv comes running in with a flying knee AND VIPER DUCKS AND WEVV CRASHES INTO THE TURNBUCKLE. Viper is back up and he goes behind…AND HE CONNECTS WITH THE GERMAN SUPLEX and Viper quickly puts Wevv into position and he climbs to the second rope and he connects with the moonsalt. Viper with the cover…1…2…KICKOUT BY WEVV MANG. Viper picks Wevv back up and he slams him down to the mat and Viper says he’s going back up to the top rope and Mr. Wang gets on the apron and Viper kicks him to the floor and he’s set up. Viper’s going for The Negative Effect leg drop and HE MISSES AS WEVV ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY. Viper is back up and he is in pain and Wevv is back up…SHAKESPEAR ON ICE…HE HIT RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP…COVER AND COUNT…1…2…KICKOUT BY VIPER.
Don: HOW DID HE KICK OUT OF THAT. WEVV DROVE HIM INTO THE MAT WITH THAT.
Mike: The will to win by Black Viper is clear tonight as this crowd is chanting for him as Wevv is saying its over. Wevv picks Viper back up and he’s setting him up for The Pedigree and Viper breaks free and he’s back up and he goes behind and he tires for a belly to back suplex and Wevv blocks it and he goes for one of his own and he connects and he has the pin…1…2…3.
Mike: Rudy Charles counted three…but do we have a winner. I swear I saw Wevv’s shoulders down on the mat.
* Referee Andrew Thomas comes running out and he is followed by Jessica Jarrett and Villiano who are arguing over who won the match. Jessica gets into the ring and she raises Viper’s arm to a round of cheer’s as Villiano raises Wevv’s arm to a chorus of boos. Finally Rudy Charles goes to the announce table and he gets on the mic and asks for the replay and he watches the replay and informs Jeremy Borash of his decision *
Jeremy: Ladies and Gentlemen…Senior TNA Official Rudy Charles has ruled that both men’s shoulders were down on the mat therefore this match is officially ruled a draw and STILL NWA WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION…BLACK VIPER.
Black Viper-4.5
Wevv Mang-4.5
Mike: I think all things considering tonight that was the best finish there could be as Wevv and Viper fought to a draw.
* We Mike Tenay get up from the announce table and get into the ring as a trophy is brought down the ramp and it is brought into the ring. Tenay gets on the microphone to begin the presentation *
Mike: Fans what an exciting night of action this has been and we conclude the tournament poriton of the show as the King of the Mountain Throphy is awarded to NWA-TNA.
*Jessica Jarrett steps up to the microphone to accept*
Jessica: Thank you Mike. I would like to thank everyone involved in this tournament as we showcased the best in wrestling. I would like to also congragulate Team PWA for putting up a valliant effort, but in the end the true King of the Mountain claimed its place.
*Villiano is seen with an annoyed look on his face but he asks for the microphone*
Villiano: Miss Jarrett I just want to say it was an honor to do battle with NWA-TNA and you all put up a great fight...but keep that trophy all nice and polished because down the road there will be another tournament and as you said the king will take it's throne. But until then its a celebration.
Jessica: Not quite...we still have one match left. I think we can all agree we want to see Mr. Phantom destroyed.
Villiano: You better believe it.
Mike: Well fans there you have it. The PWA and TNA agree on one thing as they both want to see Phantom lose tonight. Fans the I Quit Steel Cage Match is next.
* The shot cuts from Jessica and Viper leaving the ring with the trophy to a music video recapping Phantom's shocking arrival in TNA Shane's challenge and the build to the match *
*The show goes back live and we see the Six Sides of Steel Cage up ready for the main event *
