ahhh, another weekend gone and that much closer to christmas and a week off ~ can't wait!
i got my christmas cards done yesterday, so they'll be mailed today. let's see how long it takes til they get to you, laura & vickie! we got the outside decorating done yesterday, so i'll get aaron to bring up the tree and ornaments this week and hopefully poke away at it and be done by the weekend. this is going to be a busy week: hair appt for me on tuesday, one for amy on thursday, dentist for both of us on wednesday ~ different places and different times. then saturday is my work party and sunday is one of the annual christmas parties on aaron's side of the family. it's early this year since his aunt is going to her daughter's in wyoming for christmas. here's today's plan: B ~ oatmeal w/flax, br sugar & soy milk, coffee S ~ 2 clementines, tea L ~ 3 rye crackers w/pb, yogurt S ~ trail mix, tea D ~ roast beef, potatoes, mixed veggies |

good morning, ladies!
congrats to both chris and vickie for great losses in november and to you, too, laura, for such a slight gain! i only had a 0.2 lb gain, so i'll take that and hope december's better! sorry i didn't get here yesterday ~ was having trouble with the site and then ran out of time. nothing exciting going on here, though we did get the tree and decorations up from the basement, so plan to start that tonight. we have less surface this year for decorating, so will have to pick and choose what goes out. here's today's plan: B ~ oatmeal w/flax, br sugar & soy milk, coffee w/milk S ~ yogurt L ~ rye cracker w/pb, 2 clementines S ~ trail mix D ~ hamburg/pasta combo S ~ glass of soy eggnog & 1 choc chip cookie |

wonder what the problem with the site was laura. i had a problem logging on yesterday too. oh well.........
thanks laura. yup, if you have to have a GAIN of any kind, we did well---less than a pound between us. really not bad considering we just passed halloween and thanksgiving. i'll take it!! i like your eating plan for today laura. planning a snack of soy eggnog and a chocolate chip cookie sounds like a great idea. that way you feel like you're enjoying the holiday season too and not depriving yourself of "everything." smart move!! |

good morning, ladies!
we did get the tree up (but not decorated) and some of the regular "stuff" put away. tonight it's decorating and dusting, then putting out the extras. lots of work, isn't it? but it's so nice to have it done. ahhh, jim reeves just came on the radio singing Jingle Bells ~ love his voice, especially his christmas songs. my plan for the day changed: had pizza for supper and 2 choc chip cookies with the soy eggnog. the eggnog isn't really great, so i think i'll try it in my oatmeal this morning instead of regular soy milk. amy has a dentist appt at 9 this morning, so she gets to sleep in abit and i won't get to work til about 10:00, then i have to leave at 11:15 for my last endodontist appt. this morning's pretty much a write-off, work-wise! my food plan's the same as yesterday, except my planned snack will be different since there's no cookies left hope you all have a great day. |

glad you got some of your decorating done laura. i find Christmas to be a comforting and cozy time of the year. i enjoy my "candy cane" tree every morning while i'm having my coffee. quite nice!! |
