I've never seen any of the x-men movies (except some of the second one).... are they any good - was this one any good?

They're all really good. This one was great but the second one my favorite.

The action & battlle scenes is what makes this movie. It was really nice to see the 'Danger Room' in this last X-men film. The story telling & pace were so/so , but all in all It was a good / fun film! I'll give o'l Ratty a 'pat 'on' the back' , . . .
The special effects were very nicely done. Especially the moving of the Empire State building!
