POSTING MESSAGES:
1. Stay on topic
Your comments, questions, reply to a particular thread should be RELEVANT to what the thread is all about. If you find an off topic post, don’t reply or comment on it so as not to start an off-topic discussion. Just ignore off-topic post, or report to moderators online.
2. Post Legibly
A. Stop using undecipherable ‘SMS’ type messages. Don’t worry about message space or length, this board is FREE, you can express yourself perpetually as long as you follow board rules.
B. Stop using ALL CAPS post. Use capital letters as necessary. Avoid posting DiStOrTeD mEsSagEs and use only the bold and italics to emphasize something, not on your entire message.
C. Minimum of 10 characters per post, no emoticon only post.
3. Observe Conciseness
Refrain from posting loong copy-pasted article.. If you are to post a long one, don’t post it fully, as to manner that will consume a whole page. Just post only the necessary OR create a synopsis of the article and put a link to the source of the article. If it’s not yours, don’t forget to cite the source, so we can get away with copyright laws.
4. No Insulting/Offensive Language.
While it is not certainly required to agree with everyone, you must limit your criticisms to what topics discussed. No personal attacks. We all know what offensive language is, Avoid using it. Use your PM button instead.
Offensive/Insulting messages will be deleted without warning!
5. No posting of personal numbers, real full names, and home adresses.
Use the private message (PM) to give personal details. For Business Ads (located at the Classified Ads category), you may posts your business address and business phone numbers for business purposes only.
6. Replying a Post:
When replying a post, refrain from quoting the entire message esp. if it’s a long one. Edit out the unnecessary text, quote only the message applicable to your reply. Don’t quote an entire post with the unnecessary “nice FR” or “OK” reply. Use the PRIVATE MESSAGE button if you are to add a personal comment.
7. On Posting Nudities
Avoid posting nude photos in topics , in avatars and in signatures.
a.) Photos depicting explicit sexual acts is STRICTLY prohibited.
b.) Child Pornography is STRICTLY prohibited.
c.) Trafficking of women is STRICTLY prohibited.
8. On Spamming
I have observed in the past that the Invisionfree board are prone to spam bots, spammers and people who register just to advertise in the board. As you can see, there are no classified sections on the board so it is unwise to advertise in our board. Those who advertise and most of all spam will automatically be banned.
CREATING TOPICS:
1. Your topic must be original. --- meaning there's NO other thread in this board SIMILAR to the topic you want to create. Be sure to describe in the first post what your thread is all about.
2. Your topic must be in the proper forum. --- you should place your topic APPROPRIATE to the Forum.
3. Your topic must not be offensive. --- You should not create a topic which you think is DISAGREEABLE to other members: (e.g.) sexist, racist, topics about criminal activities, incest and phedophilia etc..
