It is said to be a very nasty and perilous (as well as happy, peaceful and sunny) place to be, if you talk to the people inside The Madhouse. It is true that The World Without is a perilous wilderness, full of wild Pokemon that attack without warning. Especially since the Rocket Dan has started a world war, the outside world is very dangerous. Many people return to the asylum after having been screwed up by wild monsters or Rocket Danin. After a visit to The Pokemon Centre, they rush out to the fields again.
Trainers go to The World Without to train and get Pokemon. They later return to The Madhouse to visit The Pokemon Centre and to store Pokemon they do not want. Since most wild Pokemon are very stubborn out there, they might appear over and over until you get them. If you defeat them in a battle, they will be more friendly when you catch them. One problem in The World Without is that when Trainers encounter strong Pokemon they can't defeat, they throw Monster Balls at them and if they're lucky enough to get it, the Pokemon, not defeated and therefore not really tame, will finally end up in The Box, forgotten but still having the urge to fight the Trainer it had seen. Since the nurses at The Pokemon Centre can't watch over the Trainers in The World Without, there is a police force making sure people do not mistreat their Pokemon or do bad things. The police officers all have blue, quiet spiky hair, and no, you'll have no problem remembering their names; they are all called Junsa-san. |
