They have still not put up a sign that says >>Warning! Battle City lies yonder.<< Or maybe they have, but most people seem to miss it. Well, anyway, there is to tell that in this city of tall, old brick houses and wide, dusty streets lies the uncountable, glittering pieces of broken glass from those large, antique shop-windows, as if the city have been deserted long ago; but the glass is a major part in the history of the city itself, almost coming to reveal to any passerby what have once happened beneath the eternal night . . .
. . . in this city of broken crystal. Only travellers desperate for any place safe from the perilous, cold wastelands would take refuge here, but most prefer to stay without, till the freezing black winds leave them no other choice or drive them mad enough to seek such foolish adventure. But there are of course many of those that have no idea what awaits them in this ancient city. What kind of city is this then, that should be so avoided and dreaded? Some places are destroyed by war, but this city happens to be one of those places where such commotion lingers, maybe for ever. The cause of the conflict can in itself already have been forgotten. People are in constant clash with each others, or with Pokemon – who can tell? - and so they will be, for there is no peace in this city of battle. Unless you are looking for very dangerous adventures, wanting to train, or are just as crazy as the people already in there, don't go into this city. And if you really have to pass through, ignore the people you see, you should absolutely NOT TALK TO THEM or they will fight (kill, maim, blast) you. Another thing to be aware of is that most people that pass through The Battle City alive end up at The Madhouse. You know why? Because even if you survive you won't leave Battle City with a sane mind. |
