Of course if you want to see what they have to say about IE go here:
IE Secunia Report

as opposed to firefox:
Firefox Secunia Report

IE 99 security advisories
FF 28 :2thumbsup:

IE - Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x with all vendor patches installed and all vendor workarounds applied, is currently affected by one or more Secunia advisories rated Moderately critical

This is based on the most severe Secunia advisory, which is marked as "Unpatched" in the Secunia database. Go to Unpatched/Patched list below for details.

Currently, 19 out of 99 Secunia advisories, are marked as "Unpatched" in the Secunia database.

FF - Mozilla Firefox 1.x with all vendor patches installed and all vendor workarounds applied, is currently affected by one or more Secunia advisories rated Less critical

This is based on the most severe Secunia advisory, which is marked as "Unpatched" in the Secunia database. Go to Unpatched/Patched list below for details.

Currently, 2 out of 28 Secunia advisories, are marked as "Unpatched" in the Secunia database. :ohyeah:

Face it. IE can't beat FF on security yet ..

That is completely inaccurate. Firefox actually has 96 vulnerabilities. Advisories lump CVE vulnerabilities together. The latest one alone has 24 CVE vulnerabilities.

Firefox may have actually surpassed IE in the number of vulnerabilities it has.
