LOS ALAMOS, New Mexico -- There is a new breed of weaponry fast approaching—and at the speed of light no less. They are labeled "directed-energy weapons" and may well signal a revolution in military hardware—perhaps more so than the atomic bomb.

Directed-energy weapons take the form of lasers, high-powered microwaves, and particle beams. Their adoption for ground, air, sea, and space warfare depends not only on using the electromagnetic spectrum, but also upon favorable political and budgetary wavelengths too.

... Damn. how do you post pics that aren't on the web somewhere else?

You can't, well you could attach it as a file but I am not sure how that would work.

I guess we're lucky to be in the part of the world that has the ability to be on the cutting edge of weaponry. But I gotta admit a little feeling of nervousness that weapons are becoming more and more controllable by a relatively small group of people.

Just think ... if you use a high energy microwave weapon for hunting you won't even have to cook it 2thumbsup.gif

Better yet, with the satellite version you won't even have to leave your computer to go hunting! blink.gif
