So last night after going to a buddies shop trying to get a friends(biffman) car in their to have some work done it happens again. I am heading up russell just at arville and leave the light like normal shifting at like 3k when i notice the 4 door dodge diesel beside me is blasting smoke passing me. I laughed and thought nothing of it until we get to the light just before decatur and i see is passenger rolling the window down waiving and laughing. I tried to downshift to second but the car wasnt having it so i put it in 3rd and went to get on it but the car was way out of its power band. Pulled up beside them at the next light and when it went green i took off like normal and shifted at like 5k then realized the guy was trying to race so i floored it in second and started to pull away from him. I laughed and slowed down but the guy never would pull up next to me. So i stopped short at the next light to see if he had anything to say this time. His passenger was laughing and they turned and ran. So i moved over into the turn lane behind them and followed. They thought they would be badass's and go ahead and pass in oncoming traffic and try to get away. Well i moved over past the car that was infront of me and ran through the gears. Within about 2 blocks i was sitting in 4th right beside them. I put it into 5th gear and just kept getting on and off the gas keeping about a fender infront of them. We got to the light at the 215 and i moved over to the right to get on the 215 and waited on them to follow and get walked. He pulls up in the lane going straight right next to me and i put my hands up motioning to bring it. he looks at me and says "NO WAY I AM NOT THAT CRAZY". WTF this from the guy that instigated a race, then went into an oncoming lane to try to avoid the race HE started.
