[The Ace]

Erik stood on top of one the Capital's tall skyscrapers. He looked down at the toy sized car below him and wondered if the citizens here knew about whats was happening outside their city. Suddenly, three military helicopters can into view, flying towards him. It was a routine patrol, and Erik didn't want to get caught. He quickly changed into his fox form and dash down one of the pipes. The chopper hovered over the roof for a few moments and then flew away.

Erik climbed through the pipes until finally he got out of the building through an exhaust pipe. A fox in a city like this one would draw too much attention, so Erik decided to change back to his old form. He decided to use the alleys instead of the main streets, which were full of guards. Even there, he wasn't able to escape the watchful eyes of the Imperial soldiers.

One of them stopped him and said, "What are you doing back here?"

Erik smiled and replied, "What, is it a crime now to walk here?"

The guard raised his rifle, as did the others. "Don't test me."

Erik continued to smile and pulled out an old Imperial Class A I.D., which was given to him long ago when he was employed by the Empire. He kept it, knowing that someday it would be useful. "You see this?" he said, waving the I.D. at the guards, "now step away before I report you to HighCom for insulting a superior officer."

The guards saluted and left. Erik started humming to himself and walked down the long, dark alley, paying no attention to the beggars who were there.

[Amy Watanabe]

Amy liked the Capital. It was the only place in the world that wasn't affected by the cold. Here, civilization thrive and people pay no attention to what is going on outside. This is one the places Amy comes when she has free time. Today, she was here to do some shopping. The combat knives she uses were already blunt so she needed them sharpened. She also needed a new phone and some other miscellaneous items. A lot of stuff to buy, she thought to herself.

[The Ace]

Erik walked calmly down the narrow alley until he reached a square. There was a fountain in the center with wooden seats all around it. Lawns surround the fountain, making this place look more like a park. This was the last place on the face of the planet the guards would search. However they came. Imperial Police, going through everyone's bag, checking I.D.s and looking for illegal items.

Erik quickly dashed back into the alley to avoid the police, and they didn't see him. Erik is just go sit this one out.

[Amy Watanabe]

The police descended upon the people like angry hounds, searching and dragging away random people. Anyone caught running were killed, or if they survived, hauled off to work camps far away. Amy knew just staying here was dangerous, she had seen police rape women in the undercity several times now and so she decided to run for it.

The police quickly cornered her in a small and deserted alleyway. The leader stepped up and said, "You draw a lot of suspicion to yourself you know. Why bother running if you don't have anything to hide?"

He moved up to touch her, but Amy kicked him in the stomach, sending him back towards the others. "Grab that whore!" the officer barked to the others. The guards took away her weapons and pinned her against the wall.

"Get off of me," Amy said, struggling to get the guards off. She kicked another guard, but this time, he drew his sword and slashed Amy's leg. The pain was unbearable and she screamed. However she doubt anyone would hear her.

The officer walked up to her and smiled evilly. "Now you are going to pay for kicking me," he whispered to her.

[The Ace]

Erik saw a girl being dragged off into the alleys by the police. This can't be good, he thought to himself. His brain told him not to get into trouble but his heart told him he needed to rescue her. "Oh bloody hell," Erik said to himself, and dashed off.

When he arrived, the guards had already cornered her and the officer was moving in. Summoning up all his courage, Erik shouted, "Hey you! Stop! Thats an order!"

The officer turned around and said, "Who the hell are you to give me orders?"

Erik took out his Identification card and held it out to the officer, who walked up to him to examine it. Then he laughed and said, "That card is already expired. You think you can fool me with that?"

"Oh crap," Erik muttered to himself. They saw right through his cover. No matter, he was going to do this the hard way. He sent out high-voltage stun bolts and struck all the guards, temprorarily paralzying them. Then, he grabbed the girl and took off in a completely random direction.

[Amy Watanabe]

Amy was glad she could get away from the guards. She was also curious about the mysterious person who rescued her. it seems that he had the power to use electricity. They stopped not far from where the left, but Amy's wounds prevented her from going anymore further. She sat down and began using the healing magic she knew to tend the wound.

In the distance, one of the police asked, "Who the hell was that guy?"

The officer replied, "It doesn't matter. We can't have two criminals loose on the streets. Find them, the girl has wounds, they can't make it that far!"

Paying no attention to the guards, Amy turned back to the mysterious person and said, "Thanks for the rescue."

[The Ace]

"No time for that now," Erik said, "we gotta keep moving. Come on." They continued to run until they reached a dead end. Suddenly a helicopter roared into view, and Erik can see the small sensor built onto the bottom. He pushed the girl into a small door and then entered himself.

This was his secret house in the Capital, a place he comes to to change weapons or to get intel. It wasn't luxurious, but at least it was home. He led to the girl to the back where there was a small bed and said, "You need to rest. I'll take care of the guards."

[Amy Watanabe]

The mysterious man left the room and returned a few minutes later. He sat down and removed his hood, and that's when Amy realized that this mysterious man wasn't human. "Your a fox!" she suddenly said, without thinking.

[The Ace]

"Yeah, and is there something wrong with that?" Erik asked her, quite annoyed. He always hated the way humans act when they see that he is a fox. Its like they have a grudge against non-humans.

[Amy Watanabe]

"No, no I didn't mean to insult you," Amy said quickly, realizing what she said before must have angered the fox, "its just that you don't see a fox everyday. Anyways, I still have to thank you for rescuing me. Is there anything I can do to return the favor?"

[The Ace]

A plan formed into Erik's mind and he said, "Come to think of it, I do have some uses for you. I need you to help me get into a secret bunker and you are going to help me distract the guards."

[Amy Watanabe]

"Distract? What do you mean distract?" Amy asked. Does it mean she have to kill them? Or simply get them to move away from wherever the fox is going?

[The Ace]

"Well, that is up to you," Erik said, "I don't care what you have to do, just get the guards away so I can get it without being seen. That isn't too hard is it?"

[Amy Watanabe]

"Sure I guess I can help you do it," Amy said. She wasn't certain whether she wanted to help the fox or not, but then again, he did save her life. "What exactly are you looking for in that bunker you mentioned?"

[The Ace]

"It contains the prototype of a new government mech, known as the Raptor. I need to take some pictures and get the data files on it. I heard its heavily guarded. So that is why I need someone to help me get in," Erik said.

He got up and pressed a secret button built into a wall. The wall opened, revealing a small compartment filled with weapons and surveillance gears. He took out a small square device and put it in his cloak. He also stuffed a pistol with a silencer in there. Turning to Amy he said, "Why don't you pick out the weapons you want to use? I'm pretty sure you are going to need weapons."
