WELCOME!

The year is 1947 and the Wizarding World is blooming once more. Thoughts and memories of the First War and the disastrous aftermath have long been forgotten. Students at Hogwarts have finally gotten back into the swing of things.

Suddenly, the Headmaster disappears without a trace nor a word to anyone. Now everyone is on guard once more and constantly looking over their shoulder, wondering what could and will happen next.

Can Hogwarts claim to be the safest place for its students once again or is all hope lost?

It was a hotter than usual day, and looking among the students it was obviously so. The robes were shrewd opened, some were even off, and all the boys had their sleeves rolled up. All that was missing were sunglasses and a trip to the beach. Earlier that day, Calli had been itching to go outside, and once classes let out for the day Calli excitedly ventured outside to the gardens. For the past six years of her stay at Hogwarts, she had gotten to know its gardens as well as she knew the lines of her own palms. She eagerly ran through them to her favorite little grotto-esque spot near the rear of the castle. It had bushes that formed walls and the trees became the shelter from the beating sun. There were wild flowers everywhere, especially at this time of year.

She immediately slowed her gait as she reached it, and sighed happily with contentment that no one else was there. She immediately found herself a spot under the tree, leaning her back against its cool bark as she settled into her seat with great serenity. She loved this spot, for it reminded her so much of the garden that she had back home. All that was missing was some tea and a gazebo.

Calli soon closed her eyes, and just breathed. In and out, in an almost meditative state and eventually she rested her head on the ground and fell asleep. From afar all you could was a black lump within the flowers and among the trees, but if you inched closer you'd see Calli sleeping, using her robes as a blanket. She seemed to belong there, and in her dreams she did.

Effy liked the sun. What wasn't to like, right? She liked days like this when the sun shone brightly and everyone felt its presence. These were the days when teaching was impossible. Even for a little Ravenclaw like herself who truly enjoyed the majority of her classes, work in its self-ceased to exist. I t was the type of day that made everyone give up the structured school setting, so that they may instead lie down and feel the suns warm embrace.

Asphyxia walked along the grounds picking flowers along the way. She loved flowers; they were so feminine, so relatable. She could watch the life of a flower. The first little buds of its birth, the alluring maiden hood as it let its first petals open on to the world, then all the petals were open and the flower shined showing it's true potential, and then it would slowly wither away each petal would fall one by one until the flower had disappeared not to return till next year. What truly amazed young Asphyxia-May about flowers was that no matter what stage they were out they still seemed graceful.

Effy stopped every few seconds as she walked to weave one flower in with the next until she had created a flower crown fit for any fairy queen. The girl looked about her discovering she had walked in to a secluded area, and so without hesitation, placed the crown upon her head, feeling much like a forest nymph.

She looked around her finding the area a nifty little hiding spot, and reveling in glory that she had discovered it. Then she spotted a large black lump among the beautiful things, such as wild flowers, and with all the curiosity possessed of a Ravenclaw made her way to it.

As she came closer she heard the soft sounds of breath, a curious beast no doubt.

She tiptoed almost silently to the object and then, stepped on a twig and swore at her own clumsy feet for making such a ruckus near to the curious object.
