I tried to set up an image I got off the internet (with some adjustments from ps) asmy buddy icon but it didnt let me because it said it was too many bytes

I have the avatar set too 100x100 so thats probably why you got that

Term used for memory .... Memory is measured in Bytes
kilobytes .... megabytes .... gigabytes

8 bits=byte
1024 bytes=1kilobyte(kb)
1024 kilobytes=1megabyte (mb)
1024 mb=1 gigabyte(gb)
aim icon is proball 25 kb and 40x40

The reason it says that its because the icon has too much going on. So it you added Animation it wont go threw for an icon for AIM. It will say "To Many Bytes" so make it plain and simple.
