An inter galactic voyager, huh? Alright, let's first talk about shape. I'm going to stick with a classic saucer shape, but much larger. The floor and the wall facing away from the center would be built to be floors. The outside of the ship spins for many reasons: it provides a defense against many weapons, in space it provides artificial gravity (because the inside spins at the same speed in the opposite direction as Newton't third law applies), and it allows the traversing of ship sized spacial rifts opened by the weapons system. Speaking of the weapons, there is a pair of dimensional cannons (one on top, one on bottom) that create tiny artificial wormholes on impact or can be focused to create ship sized ones. Expoloration is conducted first by probe, then by various radiological scanners and finnally by humans. Food and water are recycled as much as possible, but any suitable planet devoid of life could be the home of a small bio-dome (the caches that make intergallactic hopping more feesible than direct travel back to the home world). Extra water can be made with the gasseous scoop and proper nebulae, but this practice is avoided when posible. The ship is powered entirely on solar power and biological impact absorbtion (small generators in the floors).

I would have a Generation ship which would have everything except the part about being able to travel very fast.It would travel to the other stars by creating an artificial black hole and using a parabolic reflector to attract the Starship out of the Black Hole and to the place where They would want to go. The weapons would include twin laser cannons on the front, A machine gun on the top, and a Particle beam on the undercarriage.

Alright. My ship, first off, is bigger on the inside then on the outside. It inculdes a research station with an oxygen sensor, which can tell if the air outside is suitable for human life, telescopes for exploring even deeper space, and screens to see outside. It includes a standard SEP(Basically invisibility) Field, and basic lasers when the SEP Field fails. It is propelled by three small ion engines. It is able to gather various fruits from various planets around the galaxy. It can carry a crew of 50 people, and takes up about 10 cubic feet of space.

It would be a cubic ship, since gravity and aerodynamics are not a concern. Walls and ceilings are also floors and this makes moving from one area of the ship to another much simpler as you can have multiple doors in multiple directions. A crew quarters deck, a hydroponics lab for food and water purification, and of course the science labs would be on various levels of the ship. Outside, each of the 6 sides would have a solar sail to generate electricity for running the primary ion drive, which is simply a particle accelerator that has exhaust ports on each of the 6 sides allowing for better mobility. It doesn't take much thrust to move you when there's no friction in the vacuum of space. For defenses, it has a titanium alloy hull with high density ceramics for heat shielding on re-entry. Also included are energy shields for particle and energy based attacks. As for weapons, a simple railgun. Ever notice how ships that crash into each other in Sci-Fi shows always get past the "shields"? That's because those are designed for energy and particle weapons.. but a good old-fashioned, magnetically accelerated, carbon-steel rod shot through the hull of an enemy ship would still get the job done.
