Who are the Tates? Well.....

Irrie: The youngest of the Tate children, always bothering her parents and siblings.

United S. : Distant ancestor of the Tate family, earliest known Tate in America.

Ess: Current Tate family patriarch, Dick's father. responsible for distributing the family's great wealth to all of his descendants.

Inters: Constantly on the road, the eldest of Dick Tate's children lives his life on the highway, riding his motorcycle from town to town, singing the blues. He has renounced his father's money and lives for himself.

Upps: Dick's brother, lives in New York off the income of his savings. Rarely visits the rest of the family as he is too busy fishing.

Reese: The second oldest of Dick's children, she mocks the rest of the kids by constantly mimicking their complaints and whines.

Miss: Ess's trophy wife, she rarely says what she means to and the children find this hilarious. She is a constant target of Reese's verbal attacks.

Rehab Billy: Dick's Middle son, alcoholic and junkie, constantly "giving it up, for sure, Dad"

Poten: Ess's father, a wealthy city councilman, embezzled much of the wealth that now belongs to Ess.

Diva S. : Dick's sister. convicted arsonist. excommunicated from family when she went to prison for the second time.

Levi: Diva's son. Cut off from the family wealth, he performs on street corners, trying to survive in the world of amateur magicians.

Vegi: Diva's daughter, spends her life in front of the television. Barely supported by Dick because of her close childhood relationship with Irrie.

Prose: Dick's second youngest son, leading doctor in the field of Colonoscopy and designer of long rubber gloves.

Hessy: Prose's wife, very undecided, barely managed to say yes to Prose when he proposed, not just sits around in indecision.

Entry 3
Gravi Tate - Grandfather Gravi. People just
naturally find an irreversible pull towards
this man. He is very charismatic, and not a
man to be messed with.

Medi Tate - Technically a cousin. He moved
away several years ago and spends much of his
time in the monastery on the top of the
mountain, in deep contemplation. When the
family really gets at each-others throats, he
is the only calm one.

Demons Tate - The little brother, he is
totally a little monster, and often a show
off. He likes to use himself as an example of
the worst someone can be, so that everyone
else can be better in comparison.

Eira Tate - The big sister. She just has a way
of pissing people off, possibly through no
fault of her own.

Decapa Tate - Another cousin. He has a way of
separating people. When the family gets
together, Regerga is often following him.

Menis Tate - used to be the favorite daughter;
the pride of her mother to carry on the family
line. However, once a month she becomes a
horrendous bytch.

Raymons Tate - the middle brother, he tries to
discuss things reasonably. But often these
discussions get out of control.

Riens Tate - Another of the Romanian cousins, he likes to continually resume old arguments. He was the twin of Ains Tate - who sadly died while trying to push something by Gravi.

Entry 4

To learn about the Tate family, one only needs to go as far as speak to their self-appointed family historian, Anna.

Before the current head of the Tates, Richard, there was his father Poten, who, according to family legend, held even more control over the family than his son. Fearing that his nephew Appos would attempt to ruin the family after his passing, Poten confided in his wife Tes and left instructions with her to be carried out after his death.

Of all the Tate family members, perhaps the most famous of all is Levi Tate, a traveling stage magician. Admittedly, his performances tend to get a bit stale after a while as he only has one real trick in his repertoire, but he still finds himself in high demand, as he has the best publicist in the industry, cousin Oveurs.

Oveurs' brother Unders is also a successful figure in the field of public relations. For his last job, he held press conferences for British Petroleum on the ecological impact of offshore drilling.

Another up and comming Tate is the beautiful Rhona, or Rho for short, who is an aspiring fashion model. Her twin sister, Hessa, does not seem to have found the same success, nor shown the same enthusiasm for it as her more active sister. Instead, Hessa spends more time with their little brother, Veja.

Unfortunately, whenever there's a large gathering of Tates, it's inevitable that the least favorite Tate, Ira, should show up along with his two children Devin and Presippa. Don't allow little Devi's inability to pronounce his S's fool you, he is quite the little hellion and given the opportunity will break everything in your house. His sister Presippa is also quite the problem child, and is never part of any solution.
