Yes. You read that right. I will be doing a karaoke contest for listeners and you all will get to vote for the winners. I will keep submissions on air anonymously so it's not a pissing/popularity contest. I just want the people who do win get their due justice because they rocked out Lady Gaga/or so good they need to be hired by Weird Al to write his parodies. Winning is not for the best cover of the song, but overall quality, performance, etc. You may not be able to sing worth a damn like Sarah McLachlan, but you at least made it sound good!

To participate, send nevena an e-mail to DJnevena[at]gmail[dot]com. You will not be able to choose what song you get to sing, but you can tell me what artists/genre you could do a karaoke song to. I will provide the karaoke song in MP3 format, the lyrics, and a YouTube link for the original song/music video. You can have one "this song isn't right for me, could I get a new one?"/AKA Do-Over.

You will have until 19 April 2012 to submit these songs back to me in MP3 format. A great software you can use to edit your song is Audacity. There are several videos/tutorials online that you may use. I am NOT a resource.
