Ok, I'm going to explain this as easily as possible. This is a place to obviously do threads between characters that happened during their earlier school years. Afterall, there was drama before they hit high school.

I wanted to keep the options open so instead of all threads happening in these forums being automatically AU (Alternate Universe) I wanted to leave the choice up to you. So, say I wanted to RP with Scarlett and Raven to see what caused them to dislike each other in the first place. If I wanted what we RPed to actually be part of the backstory of the characters then I would simply label it Canon in the topic description.

Now, say you have a character who is new to the town and didn't go to the local Elementary and Middle schools. It doesn't mean you can't have fun on these boards. You are more than welcome to post and interact, however, because these things aren't really happening simply label them AU in the topic description.
