This is the list of Canon characters, all of them are taken from the POTC movies and translated best we can from their state in the movies into high school students. These are mostly guidelines, when you apply for the character you get to flesh them out further.
You may request to reserve one here. We will hold them for three days...unless you contact an admin and request an extra few days.
Bold denotes a Taken Character
Italics denotes a Reserved Character
*Characters that have a ???? where the first name should be is a character that doesn't have a first name in Canon. The RPers who get these parts will get to make that decsion. Same goes for ????? where the last name should be.
Elizabeth Swann - Sophomore - Prep
Undeniably part of what you'd call the High School Royalty, she's well-liked, polite, smart and sweet. Everything you'd expect a popular girl to be; the twist is she's actually sincere and is a genuinely nice person. She also has a rather independent streak in her and is a lot stronger than most people give her credit for. Very pretty and moderately well off her father is also the Principal of Mariner High. Both William Turner and James Norrington have crushes on her. However, she's had her eye on only William Turner and Jack Sparrow.
William Turner - Sophomore - Nice Guy
Will's a really sweet nice guy. He's a little quiet and shy at first but get to know him and you'll see he's really interesting to talk to. He's a bit of a romantic, has a strong sense that chivalry isn't dead and is the sort of guy who'd open the car door for a girl on a date. He's been friends with Elizabeth Swann since they were younger, and now has a huge crush on her but is too polite and shy to let her know. Will gets decent grades but excells with subjects in which he gets to work with his hands, he tends toward being the creative artistic type. His father, William Turner Sr. is a good man but Will hardly ever sees him as he is a business man who travels very often for work.
James Norrington - Junior - Jock
James isn't your typical jock in the sense that most people think of a jock. He's smart, clean cut and handsome and the sort of guy that a girl can take home to mother. He gets very good grades often being on Honor Roll and High Honor Roll for his hard work. He's also althetic, he's the star player on the school soccer team and despite all these things he still manages to be Class President as well. He's one of those guys that girls will swoon for but yet he never takes advantage of girls with his popularity. At heart he's a good man, and he's also got it bad for Elizabeth Swann, who really isn't interested in him but is too sweet to reject him completely.
Jack Sparrow - Junior - Rebel
Jack's the school bad boy in a nutshell. Extremely handsome he has a natural charm about him with the girls, which only tends to last as long as it take him to get said girl on their back. He dislikes school, wishing he could drop out and just become the rock star he knows he's meant to be. He has a problem with authority and people who push him around. He can be incredibly stubborn and also goofy at times. At heart, he's a good guy, not that it's a fact he really advertises. Jack has a decent amount of friends, earned mostly from his easy going humorous nature. His one true love is his band, The Black Pearls, which is a rather popular local rock band. He plays lead guitar and does the vocals as well as making up most of the songs.
Cutler Beckett - Junior - Geek
Cutler is a very driven individual, his family doesn't have much money but Cutler has high ambitions in life so he works his butt off in school for good grades and extracurriculars already thinking about how certain activities will look on his college application. He lacks a lot of social skills however, and doesn't really have friend so much as underlings or lackeys who hang out with him to advance their own ambitions in life. He hates Jack Sparrow, probably more than anybody else in school for reasons that nobody really understands or remembers but him. Overall, he's a bit of a loser but he's the type of geek who would be voted most likely to become the next Bill Gates.
Tia Dalma - Junior - Social Butterfly
Tia is that girl who is slightly outcast from the rest of the school, she has an odd sense of style but she is rather pretty under it. She has a certain mystical element about her, often has tarot cards and other strange trappings associated with Wiccan. Nobody is sure if she is or not and nobody really seems to know all that much about Tia, however, Tia has a weird knack of seeming to know what is going on with everybody elses life. The jury is still out on whether she is psychic or just very attentive to detail.
Anamaria ??? - Junior - Rebel
Anamaria is the girl who always has been a tomboy, not many people would call her feminine not even as a joke in fear of her fierce temper. She is a member of Jack's band (position to be decided by the RPer). She was also that girl who is still know as being the bully back in Elementary school. She isn't all harsh though, Ana has a few good friends and she is as loyal to them as any friend could really ask for.
Giselle Thenardier -Junior - Cheerleader
Giselle is what most would describe as a blonde bombshell, she's very sttractive and she is highly aware of this fact and would proudly tell you so if asked. She's pretty high on the high school foodchain not only because she is a cheerleader but also because she's one of the school gossip queens. If something happens with the people in school chances are she knows about it almost as soon as it happens and is telling anybody who will listen all about the gruesome details. Her BFF since Kindergarten is Scarlett. She may not be one of the smartest girls in school but she can be catty and creative at revenge if you get on her bad side. She also has an....extensive reputation with the boys.
Scarlett Delisle - Junior - Cheerleader
Scarlett is a lot like her BFF Giselle only she looks rather different, espeically with her boldly colored red hair, which she claims is natural. The jury is still out on that one. She's the other school gossip queen and those two can be merciless when they smell a story. Scarlett also tends to have a more fierce temper than Giselle so, I wouldn't want to be on her bad list.
Joshamee Gibbs - Senior - Nice Guy
Another member of Jack's band he's one of Jack's closest friend even if their not technically part of the same clique. Gibbs is a local who grew up in the area and hence he knows all the local legends and folklore and stuff like that. He also has a certain flair for storytelling. (RPer choses the instrument in the band)
Hector Barbossa -Senior - Rebel
Barbossa used to be the biggest bad boy around school and because of that he actually got girls, some of them really dig that bad boy thing. The motorcycle probably helped as well that and the fact he has a really good fake ID that can score him alcohol even if he is underage. However, he isn't as well known any longer since Jack showed up and stole his thunder. He's still rather bitter about that and if he could have one thing in the world it would be to make The Black Pearls break up.
