Characters may be as rude towards others, but as a member of this forum, you are expected to treat each other with respect and kindness. No one liners please. Each post must have a good 4-5 lines. Keep in mind if you have a one liner other characters cannot react off of your actions. Also, keep in mind italics are for thinking and emphasis not for the normal text of the rp. Bold may also for emphasis and may be used for a character's speaking lines. Keep your posts in third person and past tense please. Third person means when a character does movements it is: Elizabeth walked into Virgin Megastore in the Downtown Disney area, happy to get out of the house. And NOT: :::Walks into Virgin Megastore::: or I walked into Virgin Megastore, happy to finally get out of the house. Please keep a good sense of spelling and grammar in you posts. We understand that the world isn't perfect and that people make typos and mistakes, but please be mindful of you spelling. Internet slang will not be accepted in your posts. We are rpers not internet conversationalists, we expect your rp posts to follow the standards of the English language (either British or American). If you know that your spelling and/or grammar aren't exactly to par, we suggest using your word programme to check before posting. Register with your character's name (first and last, middle name is optional) And if you run into an error, please PM an admin as soon as you can. As soon as you are accepted, please claim your actor/actress/model And please get an avatar up so that we can identify your character by face and name. If you do not claim your actor within three days of your character's approval, someone else is welcome to claim him or her. Being active is important. Random activity checks will be performed, please respond to these as if you don't by the deadline, we will delete your character. This is to make sure that all characters on the forum are active and not taking up space. Activity checks are not optional All members MUST submit their name to the activity checks when they occur, even new members. It isn't our job to see who had just joined or hasn't. We will go by the list of names on the activity check and not by last activity. This isn't our job, it's yours to submit your name! If there is a problem with your application please change what was asked. If there is a problem, fix it, if you do not your character will be denied. You have a week to fix the problem before the application is moved to the denied section. Rules are expected to be followed As a member of this forum, you are expected to know and understand these rules. The word that says you have read the rules is: jar of dirt. Failure to put this word when asked if you have read the rules may lead to a denied application. This forum is rated R/NC-17 We are dealing with High School level characters...as normal peple would, characters may experiment with: sex, drugs and alcohol. The world isn't perfect. But please do have a warning in yout subtitle or title. There are no limit as to how many characters you have as of now Please keep in mind that not every character is beautiful, thin, or perfect. People are flawed as your characters should be as well. Also, we cannot have every character as a female. If you have four characters, at least one should be male. Avatars are set to a 100x100 limit, but please be reasonable with your signature banner. It should be no larger than 300x500, if it is slightly bigger we won't argue as long as it doesn't take up half a page. If a character does not have a sibling/other family member listed you cannot make one for them. This mainly applies to canons because, Elizabeth is an only child...so is Will. If the rpers do not wish for anyone to make up a cousin...brother or sister to these characters...you cannot do so against their will. One of the admins will contact the rper to make sure it has been approved by them...if not, you may request a name change and rp as another character or the account will be deleted. Please e-mail or PM the rper before submitting your application and then PM or e-mail the admin account, Bottle of Rum to let us know the result. Non-Playable characters There is a list of the Non-playable characters (or NPC), those characters include key adults such as teachers and parents of canons...to rp with one of these characters you MUST PM: Bottle of Rum or e-mail the admins: really_bad_eggs_rp@yahoo.com with which NPC you wish to bring into a thread. Please use them sparingly as there are only three admins at the moment and we each have our own characters to rp with. NPC list: Click here All rules are subject to change with or without notice. Generally I will send a mass e-mail to every member (account) saying that there has been a major rule change. And if you feel any rule should be amended please contact an admin.
