Hi no Kuni
The Fire Country, which houses Konohagakure no Sato within it's thick, forested terrain. It shares it's borders with many of the other countries, causing a constant influx of both shinobi and travelers.

Mizu no Kuni
The Water Country, home of Kirigakure no Sato, a shinobi village famous for it's brutality. Underneath the current daimyo, this country is stricken by poverty.

Kaze no Kuni
The dusty, dry Sunagakure no Sato is within the borders of the Wind Country. This land is mostly scorching desert and sun-baked earth.

Kaminari no Kuni
The Lightning Country is one of the more unique places which houses a shinobi village. Kumogakure no Sato is indeed a dangerous village to trifle with.

Tsuchi no Kuni
Iwagakure no Sato defends the Earth Country, a mountainous outcropping of boulders and rocks. Some of the roughest shinobi reside here.

Ta no Kuni
The Land of Rice Fields, home of Otogakure no Sato. Being that the village was created by the Sannin Orochimaru, it's constantly shrouded in mystery. Also, Valley of the End is within Ta no Kuni, marking the border between them and Fire Country.

Ame no Kuni
The Rain Country is no joke with their heavy defense. It holds the shinobi village, Amegakure. Being between 3/5 of the Great Countries, it's often a battlefield for their wars. Thus, their government greatly lacks stability. The country was obviously named for their immense amount of rainfall.

Taki no Kuni
The Waterfall Country is very secretive, as it also remains safe from the outside. It has a small shinobi hidden village, though not many would know of it. The entrance is hidden, and the village couldn't even be seen from above.

The Tea Country
The Tea country is a peninsula marked by forests, mountains and fishing villages along its coast. It shares one border with the Fire Country, and maintains good ties with its ninja village because it maintains no ninja village of its own. Home of the Todoroki Shrine Race.
