She ran, she ran as fast as she could, but she could ehar them following her. The 8 year old girl kept bretahing heavily, her legs were becoming heavy. She had to hide, but she could'nt find in the shadows or in the light, they would still find her. She fell to the ground. Six of them, Heartless. She covered her eyes and prayed she would not be taken away by them. The six heartless moved in, the one at the back heard a noise, a shadow loomed over it. He looked up, a shot rang out, it was gone. The other 5 spun round, another hit the ground as a claw struck it down. The next two attacked, he spun, punched one into a wall and kicked the other before shooting them both. The last one stepped back, it was so close to the girl, just a little closer. One shot, it was gone. "You okay?" the girl opened her eyes, he held out his hand and picked her up. She nodded. "Just tuern left and you will reach the square, go to the tavern" he said, she nodded and left. Vincent Valentine put his gun away as he watched her leave. He looked back at where the attack had just occured. "Thats the 15th group this week. Their becoming more of a threat" he said.

((OOC: I hope you don't mind me joining.))
Tidus' eyes slowly fluttered open but he shut them again when the light founds its way to him. The yellow light burned his brown orbs as he forced them open again. Squinting, he looked around at the few, oddly shaped buildings. No one was out on the street yet and the only sound was that of his own breathing and the blinking of the street not far from where he sat, propped up against the brick wall. Before moving he attempted to recall everything that had happened up to this point.
He remembered he had been sitting on the beach with Wakka, his best friend, and watching the waves crawl as far up the sand as they could before they were pulled back into the rest of ocean, only to be part of the next wave that tried, once again, to make its way up to him. Tidus and Wakka were not watching the water as much as they were gazing worriedly at Kairi. She never did much except sit and stare out at sea and the two boys were getting a little worried about her. They wanted to go talk to her, reassure her, or something, but neither of the teenagers could think of anything to say. So, they watched.
Soon the tree’s shadows grew longer and the sun began to go into hiding until the morning when it would rise again to give light. Almost in sync, Wakka and Tidus hopped off the soft sand and, with one glance back to Kairi, they both walked inland. They had only walked a few yards when a black cloud, a gaping hole where nothing existed, opened to in front of the friends. Memories of the day Sora and Riku disappeared flashed in Tidus's head as several small black creatures hopped from the hole. Anger, no, Hate erupted in Tidus. These were the things that had taken his friends. Without thinking he pulled he long, bright blue sword, which he had received from his father, out of his belt and held it in front of him. Then, with a fierce glare on his tanned face, he charged the Shadows, swinging his blade at the nearest one. With the help of Wakka the beasts had thinned in number and soon began to retreat, but Tidus' anger still burned bright and he chased them back into the hole. He was engulfed.
Then he ended up here, sitting on the street, leaning against a wall. He was so confused. He slowly picked himself up, not exactly knowing what he would do next. Before he could think, a shot was heard and he jumped. He glanced around frantically, searching for the source of the sound and there it was; a man, shooting down the little creatures he had seen on the Island. He started to run toward them, his sword already in his fist. By the time he reached the man all the Shadows had been taken care of and a young girl was running away. “Hey! Where did they go? Those… things?” He asked, sounding incredibly desperate. All he wanted was to kill every one of those foul creatures. For all he knew those were the reason why Kairi was acting weird, why Sora and Riku had disappeared and why he was in this strange town and not on his Island. He simply wanted to kill them.
