Title: The Doctor and Donna Go to Disney World
Description: The Reviews

MackenzieW - September 12, 2008 06:41 AM (GMT)
Here's the story. Enjoy!

AraionaDuBois - September 12, 2008 10:38 AM (GMT)
I love that MST...*grins* Yeah, I think the Doc needs some mental evaluation. You'd think he's going through some meta-crisis right now you know. With all the continuity errors running strong, that's got to be messing with his head!

Fishpaste - September 12, 2008 06:26 PM (GMT)
*giggles* I liked that one! I've never even seen Dr Who and the idea of him cartwheeling around singing was too much.

The docter obviously has a very very strange sense of humour indeed. Who reads the fanfiction about themselves? Orlando Bloom certainly doesn't...

Mathonwy - September 12, 2008 08:00 PM (GMT)
What? The story's down? Rats - I could've read more of that!

QUOTE
The Doctor planted a big kiss on her lips.
All: WHAT?

"I love you Donna noble" he said.
Doctor: Yes, but not like that.
Mac: Please don’t turn this into a Donna/Doctor romance.

Aie! On second thoughts, if they're going to start indiscriminately shipping the Doctor and Donna - no, I couldn't. Burn, fic, burn!

QUOTE

Hmm. Well, apparently Antony Stewart Head used to read Buffy fanfiction. Though from all accounts he was a little bit startled at some of the things that the fangirls had Giles getting up to. Let that be a warning to all actors - Orlando, shut that browser down now!

Siany-T - September 12, 2008 08:29 PM (GMT)
*Starts crying uncontrolably* The OOCness, it's bad. The one compnaion ship that really wouldn't happen from the new DW it they used it. And a really stupid plot that is entirly unbeliveable. Plus a cartwheeling Doctor. *Crys some more*

If Orlando read just a quater of the stuff fangirls get his characters doing I think he would have a corony.

MackenzieW - September 12, 2008 09:49 PM (GMT)
As I said, it was taken down because people couldn't stand her portrayal of the Doctor.

And I think it's right up the Doctor's alley to look up stories about himself, he's probably shaking somewhere in the Tardis over how many times he and Rose have gotten together and had a happy little family.

That's probably the reason why he avoids the computer.

I had hoped she would post another chapter so I could see how she would portray Disney World. I've been there tons of times so I would know if she screwed it up badly. Like I could see her saying they went on Space Mountain and then went next door to Thunder Mountain or the Rock N' Roller Coaster. (Space Mountain is located in Tomorrowland while Thunder Mountain is located clear across the park in Frontierland. The Rock N' Roller Coaster is in another park entirely, Hollywoodland). As I told Ari, there are a lot of "(Insert Fandom Characters Here) Go To Disney World" but it's really they are just in the Magic Kingdom. Once, I want a story where they go all over Disney World.

Siany-T - September 12, 2008 09:56 PM (GMT)
Hmm I do see the Doctor reading fanficitons, 'for research purposes' and maybe even Jack sometimes. I even see Jack enjoying some of the slash fics.

Ay, poor guy. Makes me feel sorry for him.

AraionaDuBois - September 12, 2008 10:46 PM (GMT)
Yes, I could see The Doctor reading fanfiction. I wonder if he googles his name and visits all the sites he's mentioned at? Hey, Doctor, if you're reading this: follow the IP address and take me to another planet! One trip! That's all I want! One trip!

Anywho... yeah, woulda been 'nice' to read more. I'm sure she would have butchered it.

Siany-T - September 12, 2008 10:49 PM (GMT)
Oh good idea.

'Hey Doc, if you're here please come and take me on one trip too. The same one as Aria. I don't mind and I'm sure she won't either. I promise I'll keep my inner-fangirl under control. Please?'

Yep, eve though the OOCness made me cry I do want to read more purely to see how she butchered it.

MackenzieW - September 12, 2008 11:13 PM (GMT)
Well, while we shall never know what transpired when the Doctor and Donna went to Disney World, lozza1989 has continued on. You can read some of her other works here.

Siany-T - September 12, 2008 11:18 PM (GMT)
OMG she did one where they went to Alton Towers as well. Oh and one where Martha and Doc go to Blackpool and also a lot of other weird sounding stories that sound like OOC to the max.

AraionaDuBois - September 13, 2008 11:33 AM (GMT)
Oh yes! Having Sainy come too would be a blast! No worries! I don't go squee over you and I'll make sure she doesn't either! :):) Please? Pretty please?

Oh Lord... those stories...look, erm, interesting. After I get some VO in me I'll give em a read.

Siany-T - September 13, 2008 12:14 PM (GMT)
We'll keep each other in line. Please, just one trip *puppy dog eyes* Please.

Yep, I might read them when the world ends (October then tehe). Or when I need to scream at something.

AraionaDuBois - September 13, 2008 12:26 PM (GMT)
Maybe half a trip? You can leave us on some other planet if you'd like!

lol! Yeah, better read them before Oct 21st!

Siany-T - September 13, 2008 03:35 PM (GMT)
Maybe to a planet int he 51st century? We don't mind. Pleeeeease?

Oh yes, and make the trip before October 21st. Btw Dotcor the mini-dalek saw this and became even more confused.

MackenzieW - September 14, 2008 02:38 AM (GMT)
Oi, don't forget me! I want a trip around the universe as well!

AraionaDuBois - September 14, 2008 12:08 PM (GMT)
Please Doctor? We'll be good!! I'll keep them in line! I promise!

Fishpaste - September 14, 2008 01:34 PM (GMT)
Oooo, me too! Me too!

How 'bout a trip back in time? I wanna visit Tolkien and help write the books!

Siany-T - September 14, 2008 03:10 PM (GMT)
Doctor, please take us all on a trip. Please, we try to keep your timeline as it is, we're good guys (gals really but hey) and we'll keep each other in line.

AraionaDuBois - September 14, 2008 10:37 PM (GMT)
It's not like we'll mess anything up! We're not looking for ways to get ahead in life, like Adam, and running is fun! I love the running! :)

MackenzieW - September 15, 2008 02:14 AM (GMT)
Running, I'm very good at running. I used to be on the track team! Please...I don't tend to get kidnapped, so you won't have to worry about me!

Siany-T - September 15, 2008 05:12 PM (GMT)
I can run if I really have to. I won't get kidnapped, I can fight my way out but I don't like killing. Pleeeeeeeeeeease? Please? We even understand the stuff about timelines.

Fishpaste - September 15, 2008 05:48 PM (GMT)
We'll all be very careful not to kill anything that could possibly be important.

Siany-T - September 15, 2008 06:08 PM (GMT)
And if we go to the 51st cenutry we promise we won't chase Jack.

AraionaDuBois - September 16, 2008 09:38 PM (GMT)
and we won't ask about her or make you talk about it at all. We won't get attached! Just one ride! please?

Siany-T - September 16, 2008 09:42 PM (GMT)
Pretty Please? We promise we won't go and change history so the world all dies.

AraionaDuBois - September 16, 2008 10:33 PM (GMT)
Lol! We'll just observe things... I am studying to be a historian...I'd love to visit past events...please?

Siany-T - September 16, 2008 10:36 PM (GMT)
Me too. Please?

MackenzieW - September 17, 2008 01:35 AM (GMT)
Please! I only have a page of people I want to meet! Like George Washington, Lafayette, Walt Disney, Eleanor Roosevelt...Oh, I also want to go to Disneyland's Opening Day and the first performance of "Oklahoma!"

Fishpaste - September 17, 2008 06:14 AM (GMT)
And the crowning of Henry the eighth and Victory day and a medievil hunt and the battle of hastings and...everywhere really.

MackenzieW - September 17, 2008 06:33 AM (GMT)
Ohh, the first performance at the Globe.

Fishpaste - September 17, 2008 04:40 PM (GMT)
To see the dodos!

Siany-T - September 17, 2008 05:41 PM (GMT)
I really want to see the original Star Wars film when it comes out. And visit Queen Elizabeth I time.

MackenzieW - September 17, 2008 08:40 PM (GMT)
Okay Doctor Who fans, take a look at this:

"You are riding on the winds
Where the universe begins
Through the atoms that repose
In the heartbeat of a rose"

What do you think?

Siany-T - September 17, 2008 08:55 PM (GMT)
Oh very nice. Not quiet sure what it's based on but it's very good.

MackenzieW - September 17, 2008 10:23 PM (GMT)
Oh, I didn't write it. If you look down in my signature, I have two verses up. This is the last verse. I was reading it again and was just struck by how appropriate it was for the Doctor.

Siany-T - September 17, 2008 10:35 PM (GMT)
Ahh yes, you're right it does fit the Doctor awfully well.

AraionaDuBois - September 19, 2008 12:26 AM (GMT)
oh yeah... that's Doctor appropriate. Did you lot read the news page for bbc.co.uk/doctorwho? They've revealed how the start of the Christmas Special is going to start! I'm really, REALLY excited!!!!!

MackenzieW - September 19, 2008 12:46 AM (GMT)
I actually love the entire song. Too bad I was either too little/not born yet when Magic Journeys was shown in EPCOT (I can't remember when Magic Journeys ended and Captain EO--with Michael Jackson, back during his Thriller days--began). It's about imagination and I feel it just fits for writers and artists.

And no, I'll have to give that a looksie.

AraionaDuBois - September 19, 2008 01:06 AM (GMT)
I wonder if it's on youtube.... *ponders* Looks pretty good... :)

You should! I won't say anything here cos of spoilers... but... SQUEE! I'm okay... oh Lord...I squeed.... again... someone shake me!
