QUOTE
A certain event...or a certain popular pairing?

No, no, I meant Gregor's Sue!daughter. puke.gif Although I dislike the Sansa/Sandor pairing too.

QUOTE
And he does realise how well he had it when he takes black.

Subconsciously, maybe, but Donal Noye really had to spell it out for him to get him to change his attitude. Then there was his rage at being assigned to the Stewards. Not that I'm complaining about all this; it's part of his development as a character.

QUOTE
What worries me is that the reason for Bran not falling might be there being no reason for him to...that is, nothing to oversee...so a certain Sue's path is clear...

Oh, I see. That is worrisome.

QUOTE
And then it turned out I was wrong and it's even worse...

I'm afraid to ask.

Thanks, Fingon! I needed that music.

Ooh. But this is a separate fic. I don't think the author is same...
As for this MST, depends if the author continues this story.

Yeah, that's a part of why I didn't mind it: it's actually a good character development. He is stubborn, and even if he wasn't, it wouldn't make sense for him to change overnight.
And he is still in puberty, you know. Not having teenage rebellion wouldn't be proper. tongue.gif

QUOTE

I meant that I thought she was his sister and then it turned out...I was sporking it as I read it. I just saw the name when I copied the character sheet and assumed 'sister'.

QUOTE

Fingon: You are welcome, My Lady.

QUOTE
Helen: Good. If shes that obvious
Tyrion: my sweet sister will dispose of her soon.

I'm with you two. Go Cersei! evilgrin.gif

QUOTE
Tyrion: Wait. Why didnt I go to visit the wall?
Helen: Because Bran didnt fall so you dont need to get arrested?
Tyrion: But I wanted to go to the wall!
Helen: But Jon cant leave.
Tyrion: But I can!

So the War of the Five Kings never gets started? So the entire plot of the original series falls apart, I guess. Oh, well, who cares: we have Sue-romances to read!

QUOTE
Constantine (as Varys): *mimes patting* Good boy, here, have a cookie.
Raistlin: How old is the boy? Or does he have learning difficulties?

I would never accept a cookie from Varys. I'd be worried it would be poisoned.

QUOTE
Helen: Well, at least hes not a Targaryen. There are more than enough of those running around.

laugh.gif The Baratheons didn't do a very good job of wiping them out, did they?

QUOTE
Name: Alphonse
House: Targaryen

So the Targaryens are French now, apparently. Who knew?

QUOTE
Eyes: Red

rotflz.gif I don't think even Maelys the Monstrous was that hideous! What level of inbreeding leads to RED EYES?

QUOTE
Tyrion: VARYS MARRIED?!?
Helen: I thought nothing could trump Ser Gregor having a child.

wired.gif The FUCK?! Does this Suethor not know what a eunuch is?! And who would marry Varys anyway?!

QUOTE
Tyrion: Ah. That makes more sense.

While I can't picture Varys adopting any kids either, at least he's not married.

QUOTE
Tyrion: Any relation to Petyr?

You know, I think we should think up a mini for the ASOIAF/Game of Thrones fandom. Maybe mini-direwolves? Or mini-dragons? I'm pretty sure there were at least four misspelled names in this chapter.

QUOTE
Helen: Whats the point disguising his heritage if hes going to give him an obvious nickname?

As if Varys would do anything that stupid.

Good job, Amarth!

I wonder if she'll use poison or more unpleasant means...

lolling.gif Point Jules.

QUOTE
The Baratheons didn't do a very good job of wiping them out, did they?

They were too preoccupied with justice, whoring and "peaches". tongue.gif

QUOTE

Actually, the name kinda sounds French...and they could be Norman conquerors equivalent. First people: Celts, Andals: Saxons.

QUOTE

Well, he does go around picking orphans, though it's not really adoption...

Maybe mini-whatever sigil the house the misspelled is affiliated to? Might be a problem with non-animals, though...by region? (Really wanted to have a mini-kraken, though.)
The show might cause a need for ASOIAF/GoT division and Official University of Westeros...

Thanks for the review!

Very true. tongue.gif Although if Stannis had become king, he might have worked harder at hunting down the last Targaryens. He's definitely more ruthless than his two brothers ever were.

QUOTE

That does make sense. I was never sure whom to compare the Targaryens to, because I always associated Valyria with the Roman Empire. Then again, I associated Westeros with all of Europe, not just Great Britain.

QUOTE

I think the mini-house-sigil is a better idea, except for House Martell. For some reason I don't mind having mini-roses for the Tyrells, but I can't imagine mini-sunbursts for Dorne. Maybe Dorne can have mini-snakes. At any rate, it wasn't a problem in the last chapter: we had a mini-dragon, a mini-lion, and a mini-mockingbird (for Littlefinger).

QUOTE

That would be so much fun to write. I'd be willing.

nodding.gif Probably.

Actually, "Roman Empire" crossed my mind sometimes too...well, it's all loosely based so it could be both?

nodding.gif That sounds good...are mini-Twins or mini-bridges for Frey okay too then?

I could do it, too...any idea how it could be done?

Well, I think it should start off the way OFUM did; have a Suethor writing a bad ASOIAF fic and come across a quiz. And then we can have all the characters, both alive and dead, as teachers.

nodding.gif Sounds good.
Except that it means reading some badfics first to see what are the main problems besides Starkcest.

Maybe we should start a new thread in "General Discussions" to exchange ideas?
