Right. So. Anyone reading a Doctor Who novel at the mo? Or re watching the series? How about that Easter special? I'm reading The Slitheen Excursion (cos the comic book shop got it in! YAY!) at the mo... s'pretty good... so... favourite Doc? companion? The possibilities for discussion is endless.

I started reading the Darksmith Legacy series, ten books over a year. They're aimed at kids, and its obvious, but I like them. I have the Prisoner of the Daleks sittiing on the side ready to be read as well.

Well, I've just started watching Doctor Who. Seems okay, I want Jack to turn up though.

Well, about half way through Series One, then he'll be gone until Series Three. Oh and then you have to wait until the end of Series Four.

Which does eveyone find scarier, Daleks or Cybermen? Or something else?

I'd vote for cybermen, I don't wanna be upgraded!

Weeping Angels are the scariest monster of them all. Absolutly terrifying, was scared of statues for ages afterwards!

AHH!! Weeping Angels!! *hides* I'm afraid of gasmasks, the phrase 'are you my mummy?', looking under my bed (you know, incase of clock work robots), shadows, libraries, and people repeating what you just said... *hides in closet* Eep... but yes, the Daleks are pretty terrifying! I remember when I saw them when watching 'The Daleks' with the First Doctor and the Dalek came down the hallway and you saw Susan pinned up against the wall in terror and the only thing you could see was the plunger... *shudder*

Ahh shadows! Also now very scary when combined with books, which basically means my room. Stupid Vashta Narda (sp?)! Daleks are quite scary, when they zap people and they sort of freeze in the beam for a moment, that's creepy. And way back with Sylvester McCoy, the first time one goes up the stairs. Utterly terrifying, not even stairs can save you now.

You should have seen me after it aired... I had to spend most of my time in the library on research projects... I kept freaking out the whole time... people were looking at me funny. And then there was the one time where the lighting was just right and I spotted two shadows... AHH!!!! oh my God, I know! I was like 'oh the Doc will be able to get away! s'not like they can go up stairs!' and then it happened... AHHH!!!! *hides under bed*

Talking of Daleks and Cybermen, I've seen them up close! There's an exhibit on in Coventry of Doctor Who costumes ect and I went to see it, it was so cool. Daleks are really scary up close!

Weeping angels definately. I have started creeping family and friends out because every time I'm anywhere near a statue I blink about once a minute. It would seriously suck if the Statue of liberty was like that. I'd go with cybermen over Daleks. I'd be too busy laughing at the trash cans. (mom made the trash cans bit up, mostly because she despises Doctor Who and doesn't bother finding out the names)
