I just wanted to know what fears people have because I know I have a few and I also know that sometimes we fear being judged for talking about our fears, so I thought I'd ask the question.
![]() So anyway! Share your fears here and explain why you fear them, if you can! -------------------- 'Do you know how some families fight and shout and curse each other, but at the end of the day they're still your family and you're with them to the end of the world because you love them and they love you?'

Okay...hmm.
I'm afraid of the sound of balloons popping. I know, it's weird. I think there was an incident where I was about three and a balloon just popped in my face and I've been terrified of loud banging noises ever since. ![]() What about you, DD? -------------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

*sigh* Where do I begin...I'll tell you four things
Spiders, the dark, Allergic reactions, needles. Spiders- I walked into my brothers room and found a spider the size of a dinner-plate a few inches from his face..I was five. The Dark- I relate the dark with the Devil. When I was smaller, I was convinced the Devil would steal my soul if I was sleeping in the dark.. Allergic reactions- I hate them. Needles- an untrained nurse+me+needles=phobia. However, I adore Hospitals..weird *to Ara* Remind me not to play Balloon pop around you.. -------------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Mae: Clowns and Needles are probably the worst . . .
Clowns: I went to the circus when I was 3 and the clowns did some weird murder thing. . . clowns have freaked me out ever since then . . . Needles: Scared of them ever since I stepped on one and had to get stitches -------------------- If I promise not to kill you can I have a hug?
My favorite thing about eating gummy bears is that they don't fight back when bite their heads off Teddies don't hug back, but sometimes they're all you have... Joker: You know, there are three kinds of people in this world. The optomistic that find the glass half full, and the pessimistic that see it as half empty. Then there's the paranoid, and they just think someone's drinking out of their glass. Corrigan: Huh, then which one are you? Joker: I'm the one who knocks the glass over. ~ The Joker Blogs. |

I guess I'm lucky, then...I'm not really afraid of anything. I used to be afraid of spiders, but that went away... I was never afraid of the dark as a kid and I like clowns.

I have major apiphobia, which is the fear of bees. I seriously couldn't even watch The Bee Movie because it's that bad. On a bad day, seeing someone wearing black and yellow stripes will freak me out. I don't know where it came from... I've just always been scared of them.
I also used to be majorly afraid of spiders. Now I can stand them if they're smaller than a couple of inches and not on me. I just don't like bugs though... I also have a minor fear of driving, after my own bad experiences last year. I hate driving with a passion, and if I'm in a car that's backing up in a tight space like a parking lot, I start hyperventilating. *shrugs* -------------------- The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. Ohh! These fears are interesting.
I fear bees and wasps with a passion because I react to the sting and because they all seem to love me! I fear Weeping angels! Because of the Doctor Who episode! I fear clowns because they just scare me. Spiders and other bugs scare the crap out of me because I got trapped under the house when I was little and I spent the few hours being covered in bugs! *shudder* My worst fear is probably drowning because I'm an asthmatic and I loathe being unable to breathe so being trapped under water unable to breathe because it means all you get is water and that means you're gonna pass out and probably gonna die, is the scariest thing for me. I used to fear falling but then I kept falling off of things and that fear went away. I don't fear injection needles I fear what I'm being injected with. The dark scares me because my cousin and I watched a scary movie when I was 4 and things came out of the dark and I've been traumatized since! -------------------- 'Do you know how some families fight and shout and curse each other, but at the end of the day they're still your family and you're with them to the end of the world because you love them and they love you?'

Let me think here... Well, my major fears would be spiders, snakes, public speaking and heights.
Spiders: When I was four, a huge tarantula invaded the bathroom while I was brushing my teeth. I've never been able to look at them the same way since. Snakes: I loved snakes until I was 12 or 13. That summer I spent all my spare time watching Animal Planet- mostly the Crocodile Hunter Diaries- and ended up having recurring nightmares about being chased by a fifty-foot long anaconda. *shudders* I can't even look at a snake on TV without freaking out now. Public speaking: I have no idea why I'm afraid of public speaking. I just am. Heights: Again, I have no idea where this one came from. I'm fine if I'm up high in an enclosed space- like an airplane or a skyscraper- but I can't stand being at the edge of a cliff, or in a high, open area- like a metal mesh staircase. Needless to say, when I visited the Eiffel Tower, my dad had to literally drag me up to the top to take a picture. I think that about covers it. Oh, no, wait- I'm terrified of needles, too- at least, the kind that stick into you. I don't mind sewing needles. |

Well, this is an interesting topic! There's only two fears here that I also have-snakes and bees.
Snakes-The first time I saw one I was scared by how creepy it looked, and then I heard about snakes with poison bites and...well I developed a fear of snakes. Bees-I've been afraid of these and wasps since I got stung by a wasp when I was six. -------------------- |

You guys really do have interesting fears!
I've realized, during P.E today, that the fear I don't like to call one of my fears is actually a fear! If that made sense!I fear objects that fly fast towards me! I.e rugby balls, soccer balls, books, tissue boxes... etc. I used to fear public speaking but I don't mind it now! Apparently it's because I'm an Extrovert and because most of my family does public speaking or singing at some point! Never had to fear snakes because I've never seen any! -------------------- 'Do you know how some families fight and shout and curse each other, but at the end of the day they're still your family and you're with them to the end of the world because you love them and they love you?'

i'm not sure exactly what I fear. I mean, I don't like snakes but I'm not actually scared of them, I don't like spiders but I don't scream when I see one, I don't like bees, but they're all over my lawn so I can't exactly fear them. The only thing I'm absolutely terrified of isn't real and never will be. That thing is zombies. I guess one of my fears would be walking in the woods alone, but that's because there are mountain lions and coyotes around here. But I don't really consider that a fear but I guess it is.

Interesting!
I love walking in the woods alone! That's because there's really no dangerous animals in them! -------------------- 'Do you know how some families fight and shout and curse each other, but at the end of the day they're still your family and you're with them to the end of the world because you love them and they love you?'

Phobias: Fire, flying bugs, anything that bites, my mum in one of her moods, my dad when he's mad, and losing internet.
